Sorry we only do Sunday to Sunday bookings in July and August! Log Home Private Guest Quarters, Immaculate. 10 minutes (5Miles) on country road to Ogunquit beach/town! Quiet country setting abuts Orris Falls Conservation Area (171 acres), easy access Kittery to Kennebunk’s seacoast. 1 mile to Wells line, 2 miles to York line, 3 miles to Ogunquit town line. 5 miles to Ogunquit and Wells beaches, easy drive or peddle on a country road. The outside patio area is is 750 sf, with full wood fence for privacy- outdoor fire pit, BBQ station with 4 burners, outdoor sink/food prep area along with two person bar and outdoor shower! Outdoor dining and sectional seating area. Unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a couch that pulls out to a queen bed for your occasional guests. The inside is 550 sf, with a gas fireplace, wood walls and wood ceiling with large beams. Floor is all hard wood with tile in the bathroom. You have a full-size washer and dryer; the ceiling height is nine feet and the counter top is a unique wood slab. In the cabinets we have a microwave, toaster oven, two 2 burners cook tops, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, and a Keurig coffee maker. Great location for access to Ogunquit and Wells beaches and exploring the southern Maine coast from Kittery to the Kennebunk’s by car or bike. Fantastic home base for Surfers, Paddleboarders, Kayakers, Mountain Bikers & Road Cyclists.

Beautiful cabin and wooded neighborhood

The cabin had everything we needed for the week. The owners have obviously taken great care to provide for their guests. The cabin was immaculate, updated, and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the premises very quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

Exceptional Vacation Experience

Everything about this rental was exceptional. The cozy and unique living space was spacious and met all of our needs. We loved having the expansive outdoor area to cookout, roast marshmallows, and see the incredible display of stars at night. It was near lots of walking walking trails and a mountain with a gorgeous view and close enough to the beaches and shops as well. The Serene Team was super welcoming, responsive, and helped us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back!

Cabin in the woods

While the space is attached to the main house, it is still very private. The cabin is beautifully crafted, nicely decorated and spotless. The backyard space is lovely and private. The hosts couldn’t be nicer and provide a lot of good literature on biking, hiking, beaches and food. The location is also ideal ... close to Kennebunkport & Ogunquit. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful visit. The cottage is attached to the main house but has a very private feel. The owners set up the cottage with attention to every detail and were prompt to reply to any questions. Outdoor space is lovely and provides extra living space. Cottage is very clean. We enjoyed being in a natural setting away from the busyness of the beach area but within 10-15 minutes of the beach.

Beautiful and peaceful Haven

and so nicely decorated. The outdoor space was amazing too. Never knew a dog would want to soak up that much Sun! She loved just lying around and having a quiet space to hang out in most of the time. And so did we. The hosts Matt and Sophia were just absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond with great and MEMORABLE suggestions of the area and even supplying us with a beach umbrella on a very hot day. We felt really taken care of! Oh… and upon arrival there was a nice cold surprise in the fridge too and a handwritten welcome note! That was so much appreciated! THANK YOU REALLY to the entire Syrene Family!

Great spot

This was a quiet neighborhood, private and perfect for 2 people. Everything was provided, all you need is your clothes and some food if you want to stay in and cook for the day/night.

Centrally Located Cabin

Very lovely place located 5 miles from everything (which I liked). My wife and I enjoyed the place. Only issue in my eyes was the wireless could have been stronger. Other than that, I give it 5 Stars.

Awesome Time

We loved this house. It was very private despite being attached to another house. It was designed very well and I really enjoyed the look and feel of the place. Very cozy and spacious at the same time. The enclosed yard area was great. I would have loved to have had a fire or spent more time reading my book out there but it was very hot that week. It is a quiet area yet just a short drive away from any activity you might want to do. The dogs are very sweet too! They would come out to greet us as we were coming and going. I would recommend this property to a small family visiting the area, and I would go back to it if/when we are in the area again. Thanks guys for helping to make our vacation a pleasant one!

Great week in Maine.

The property is a bit out of the way but it feels like an absolute refuge after a long day. I’d recommend it to anyone. It’s also a great property for those who have dogs. Lots of nearby woods to sniff…

This was just what we needed - easy access to beaches & town by day with quiet privacy to relax outdoors by night. The property is well designed and taken care of, and we felt right at home throughout our stay.

A real gem!!

This property was perfect for us! The home was spotless and relaxing, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with everything we needed. It was a great setup, with the private entrance and patio. Everything inside and out was well thought out and comfortable. We are two parents, two kids under 11 and a dog and it was a good size for us. (And I think our dog already misses Sailor! 😍) The washer and dryer was a nice plus, especially after a beach day. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, and the location was out of the path of summer traffic but close enough to get to everything we wanted to see and do. We will definitely be back and would recommend!

Beautiful, private perfect location

From the moment you step into the private courtyard you feel in vacation mode. There is the perfect place to sit and relax. The house had everything one would need on vacation. Everything was beautiful decorated and thoughtful placed. The house was very clean and we kept saying we could live here. The location was perfect for day tours to Portland and heading to the beaches too. Even going into the mountains is really close too. Highly recommend!

Little log cabin apartment

The property was beautiful, just as pictured and described. Very comfortable and well thought out design. John was a friendly host who was helpful yet not intrusive, which is important since the apartment is connected to their home. He left personal touches to welcome us such as wine and seltzer in the refrigerator. The location was convenient, about 15 min to Ogunquit, Maine Street. Beaches maybe 15-20 min away. We would recommend staying here.

A Wonderful Vacation!

From the time I booked the property up to our arrival and check in everything was great. The house is just like it looks in the pictures and it is beautiful, clean and comfortable. John and Janna and Buoy were great and very accommodating. I would highly suggest if you want a great vacation and a place to call home for a week or more, book this property! Perfect

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The property is exactly as shown and described, plus so much more! You could not ask for a better location, it’s only a short drive to so many destinations and so much nicer than staying in a hotel. We had complete privacy and the owners didn’t leave out a single detail. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again; we had all the luxuries of home in a beautifully kept , clean home. Wonderful place :)

Quaint, comfy and totally Maine!

We loved John & Janna’s! This quaint and comfy home is located just a few miles from Ogunquit and situated in a beautiful wooded area surrounded by typical New England homes and environs! Beautiful!

Perfect size for a couple and a dog, we loved everything about his place. We got great instructions from the owner and found everything we needed. Practical, all was working fine, kitchen, washer dryer, bathroom. Very quite and located in a beautiful area. A dream place we can only highly recommend. Beautiful and well maintained

This property was wonderful! Very clean and quaint! We loved the fenced in area! With renting this property you get the cabin life feel, all while not being far from lots of wonderful towns with a ton to offer! This place is beautiful and well maintained! Awesome place to stay!

My husband, two year old, 2 pugs and I (from Ohio) stayed here for a week. When we arrived we were greeted by their dog Buoy (very nice dog). The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed and furniture was all very comfortable. The patio was very nice as our 2 year old and dogs enjoyed playing out there. It was a very cozy cabin in the woods. It wasn't too far from all the little towns but far enough to be away from all the noise. John and Janna were very accommodating and are great people. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking in the area. If we ever get the chance to make it to Maine again we will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Amazing Place to Relax on Vacation

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much we don't want to leave :-) The property is beautiful and outfitted with all the comforts anyone could want. Absolutely beautiful cabin quarters with gorgeous decor and architectural details. The outdoor courtyard is outfitted with many amenities and fenced in for us to have our two dogs enjoy the outdoor space. We enjoyed this stay so much and do hope to come back when the weather is a little bit warmer to enjoy more of the courtyard. We wanted to kick back and relax and enjoy the local scenery and restaurants and this place definitely delivered.

Away from it all!!

Overall a great vacation. The property is beautiful and the hosts John and Janna were very welcoming to my husband, myself, and our dog Barney. They really pay attention to detail and anticipate their guests needs. I highly recommend this rental. It is a bit of a drive to attractions but worth it. Navigation a definite plus.
