The inviting main living area and the quaint kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven, create the perfect setting for your getaway.

The Space:
Below Deck is the perfect spot to soak in the beauty of the Maine seacoast! This delightful two-bedroom apartment features a cozy queen bed and a full bathroom complete with an oversized shower, making it a great retreat. You’ll love the spacious living room, which includes a 50-inch TV for your entertainment needs. Additionally, the kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need, including a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and a dual Keurig coffee maker to kickstart your day on the right note! There is a gas grill available for guest to use as well. The unit provides beach chairs, a beach buggy, and a small cooler to enjoy your day at the beach. There is a small patio with a rise off area. We welcome smaller dogs. Please note that the ceilings are low and people who are taller than 6'2 may not be comfortable.

Great Location

The property was updated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. I didn't give it 5 stars because the ceiling is low {that is mentioned in the listing} and anyone over 6 feet probably would not be comfortable. I'm 5'11" and it was ok for me. Overall, a great place to stay.

Below Deck was the perfect rental for our Maine beach trip. The photos and description are very accurate. It's a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom so it was exactly the right size for the two of us. There is a nice living area with a small dining table with 3 chairs, and a kitchenette that had a sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and several small items we didn't use (ex. toaster, blender). The furniture was stylish, and the place was clean. We were provided plenty of bath towels, TP, paper towels, napkins and really just needed to get coffee, filters, and milk at the grocery store for our first day (plus snacks of course!). As mentioned in the listing the ceilings are short but am 5'5" so it was not an issue but please do be advised if you are tall you would hit your head on the door jam.We were so pleased to have beach chairs and other items available to us (just remember to bring your own beach towels). The walk to the beach couldn't be easier (close enough that we stayed on the beach the whole day and was a quick walk to come back just for a bathroom break). Wells is a lovely town and enjoyed the quiet residential atmosphere and had great restaurant options within a couple miles plus the supermarket was a quick car ride to stock up. Wells was an easy jumping off point for going to Ogunquit, Kennebunk, a day trip up to Portland, etc. The communications with the owner were outstanding, so quick to respond and very open to answering our questions.
