This property it set up really nicely for a small family with doggos. You can tell that it was recently remodeled as every thing was fresh and clean. Nice features with build in crate furniture and dog blankets. The feature of the robot vacuums was great for keep the floor swept. Any thing you need was there and ready from linens to dish washing supplies and even coffee. The walk to the beach is not bad, but note there is a steep hill in sand to navigate to get to the beach. The carts to carry your stuff were a plus!

Absolute beautiful home a short walk from the lovely shores of Rodanthe. Home is extremely pet and people friendly, I packed so much stuff that was already in place in the home. Basically anything you might need is available in the well stocked kitchen. Beautiful interior, nice decks ad covered screened in area. Also a rooftop deck with views of the ocean and the sound. Please keep in mind, this is away from the hustle and bustle of the more populated areas such as Nags Head and Duck, but only about 30 minutes away. We utilized the grill our first night and ate from a few of the local establishments. Which is perfect for me, as I prefer more of an old school beach environment. Walk to beach is less than five minutes, although the dune at access may be a bit much for some, it will get your blood flowing . We enjoyed the beach and it wasn’t overly busy, even on the 4th of July. The only problem I had was leaving this paradise and wanting it for my own. The host is prompt in her response and has put a lot of thought into this home, I actually felt like it was my home for the short week. The beds were probably the most comfortable I’ve have experienced in a rental and it seemed as though the amenities were endless. I didn’t catch as many fish as I wanted to, but a tropical storm had the water churned up a bit, but overall we had great weather. I can’t wait to return soon, thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us, we all enjoyed immensely.

I chose this property because it is on a rural beach in an established neighborhood. Being in nature and visiting the beach the best of both worlds.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique because you can listen to the waves and enjoy the ocean while seeing deer and other wildlife. It is very calming and you feel like you are in an entire other world. Sky gazing and seeing all the stars is also amazing.
