not to be missed

Vintage school bus impeccably renovated, situated on a spot of country with horses and breezes and a great movie of skies over Sleeping Ute Mountain. The hosts are super cool and responsive. Easy drive to all the surrounding wonders, and easy to stock up or grab a bite in Cortez.

Lovely skoolie

I rented the skoolie to stay in while my son & I explored Mesa Verde. It was such a fun experience! Gave us a bit of a glamping experience, which I appreciated. The craftsmanship of the interior conversion is outstanding. The owners were also very responsive and helpful with our requests. I would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Not to be missed!

Thoughtfully and creatively renovated school bus in a perfect location to explore the areas' many parks and recreation possibilities. Situated in a quiet neighborhood on a couple of acres under a mature cottonwood with shade, being in the bus feels like you are out in country while just a hop-skip into town. With horses in your front yard- well just across the fence-facing a full view of Sleeping Ute Moutain, the place is quiet, unique and thoroughly enjoyable with attentive hosts. Don't miss it! Perfect for single and couple travelers with maybe a kid!
