We had a fantastic stay at Eagles Nest! Melissa and Tom were wonderful hosts, and everything was exactly as described. The fishing was excellent, but the highlight of our trip was having the paddle boats available—they made spending time on the water so much fun. The home was comfortable, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
Beautifully located property on a lake and 25 min from Cooperstown. I would have preferred better communication before our arrival. I recommend this property.
This is a cute, rustic cabin. The hosts were very kind and communicative, and you can tell that they care about your stay. The house was stocked well, with the exception of small towels (there were only 2 in the bathroom and none in the kitchen) and there was less than 2 rolls of toilet paper - we were 6 people for 4 nights, so... I mostly add that to help the hosts remember for the next guests. The other thing that was an issue for us was several air fresheners, which give many people (including myself) a headache. We eventually hunted them down and put them in plastic bags to reduce the strength of their odor. The only other feedback I would give is that it is not very polite, in my opinion, to show up at the house an hour before check-out time. Although they did not necessarily pressure us to get out as quickly as possible, most people are going to feel somewhat uncomfortable with that.Overall, we had a nice stay and would mostly recommend this location.
This was a cute place for our family when my son played in Cooperstown. Lots of water activities. 1 or 2 more families could have stayed with us. The owners were great with communication! I would recommend this place to everyone!
