The cabin is surrounded by state parks, such as: Hocking Hills, Burr Oak, Old Man's Cave, Lake Hope and Cedar Falls. Good places to fish, hike and a lot of trails for Quads and Side by Sides. We look forward to welcoming you to our Happy place. Please look at all pictures, people seem to be surprised that the hot tub is on the porch, its in the pictures. I had one complain that there was too much foliage. It's by the woods. This place is totally new inside and it is a great value, but it is not a cabin that is at Hocking Hills, if that is what you want then pay the $300+, this place is not for you. Also i can not control the weather. One complaint was that it was 93 outside another that there were wet spots on the driveway.

This is our second time staying at Jesse's property. He has made multiple improvements to the home since our first trip. The Wi-Fi has been upgraded and worked wonderfully! Just having access to the hot tub is 100% worth it for us. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, silverware, plates and cups. He has included hand soap and dish soap. The improvement we were most happy about is the walkway that was added from where you park to the porch. We will definitely be booking again!!

Yes hot tube was down but we still had a great time.
Uh, what can I type? There was someone lives there or this plac was double booked. Walked in and there at least 10 partial/full prescription bottles in the kitchen table. The bed was recently slep in with a suitcase (partially unpacked, an iPad charging in the nightstand, bathroom shower had toiletries still in the counter, and the shower was recently used. I’m a grown man and did not feel safe as I wasn’t sure if someone wasn’t going to show up while I was sleeping or not. I spent 5 minutes contemplating my next move, then jumped in my car and drove two hours home, knowing I needed to come back this way first thing the next morning.

Birthday trip for my girlfriend
When we showed up it had been raining so there was a lot of mud and ruts in the driveway but that is not something that can he helped. The property itself was nice aside from there being neighbors very close to the house. The house was clean on the inside and did have accommodations such as dishes soap and everything. The back porch where the hot tub is was just a small area and was clean. The only suggestion I made was to let others know about the neighbors being so close and there was mowing and shooting guns so the privacy wasn’t really there, and to perhaps cover the wood up outside by the fire because it was so wet we couldn’t use it and had to buy a fire starter. Over all we had a great time.

Didn’t stay
We are sorry to say this and feel badly but we ended up leaving and not staying over the holidays. It was hot the AC was a portable unit on the floor and no screens in the windows to even open if it was cooler. It had a heavy odor (musty, old). We are pretty easy to please and really tried to make it work but it was very uncomfortable. Several other reasons also that contributed to us leaving.
We didn’t stay!! We turned around and came straight back home. We were told to park in the parking space where you pull in at. The back looked like a shack you would see in movie from Wrong Turn. Hot tub was in the back of the property on the porch but wide open to the public for all to see. I was told after we left that we should have drove around in the driveway to get to the front door but the driver was nothing but mud and deep ruts. Our car would have bottomed out. I would never ever recommend these people to anyone!! Clean up the property so it looks appealing when you pull in. Do something with all the signs you have hanging in the window. I do not know how you have a 5 star rating. You can keep our vacation money!! We should have actually went back to Hocking Hills where their cabins are actually cabins and management knows what they are doing!! Rant over!!
