This property was the perfect location for my family and my brother's family. There were 8 of us total with 4 kids. There was more than enough space for multiple activities and we enjoyed that we could all eat dinner together at the table. The kids are already planning the trip again for next year. We would be more than happy to stay again.

We were in Des Moines for a wedding and wanted a large place where out of town family members could all stay in one place. We also need a place that would accommodate our dog. This location was able to do that. The house was clean and comfortable, check-in and check-out was easy. Thanks!

Everything was wonderful! Clean, family friendly, and made us feel like we were at our home away from home. If we come back to Iowa to play softball we are booking again. If they will have us!

Everything was cleaned and organized. Had cupboards and drawers labeled. Even the light switches were labeled. Not owner's fault but road construction ended up being a hassle to navigate the area. Loved our stay!

Super awesome place for our bachelor weekend. Really conveniently located, had everything we needed for a grillout (Blackstone, utensils for it, seasonings, bowls, cups), super spacious, loved the poker table and board game variety. Had everything we needed for the weekend and had toiletries in case someone forgot something, which we did (haha). Communicates instantly when we had questions, even early morning and later into the night. Would/will definitely stay here again if we're in the area again!

Hi there! I just wanted to reach out personally to say how truly wonderful you and your group were. You were such thoughtful, respectful guests, and your communication made everything so easy on my end. The way you cared for the home was noticed and appreciated, and it was clear you treated the space like your own. I also wanted to let you know that I accidentally selected the wrong star rating in the communication category when submitting your review. You were absolutely five‑star guests, and I’ve already contacted VRBO to have that corrected. You deserve full credit for being such an outstanding group. Thank you again for choosing to stay with me. I’d be genuinely happy to welcome you back anytime.

As a place that we mainly used as a place to rest at night it was wonderful. That being said We also agreed we wish we had more time to just hang out at the house as it was a wonderful place. It was very clean and felt like you were at home. The host was very helpful and even provided directions before we got there because of road work in the area. It's the small things tha tmake the stay so much better. We will be moving this property to the top of the list for anytime we need to stay in the area.

The house was beautiful & immaculate. Great amenities, more than i could have imagined. Fabulous movie & game rooms. The owner was also very very responsible when we couldn't enter via the secure entry Lock And even sent the neighbors over to help. Much appreciated! The only negative, and this is no reflection on the host, but the front yard was covered in dog feces. Shame on prior occupants for not picking up after their pets.

Just before your stay, the front yard was treated to soil restoration and fresh aeration to help keep the lawn healthy and vibrant. It’s part of my ongoing care for the property, though I know those little soil plugs can look a bit messy at first glance! Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m truly glad you enjoyed the house and all its amenities—especially the movie and game rooms. I love creating spaces where families can relax, play, and make lasting memories, so hearing that it exceeded your expectations means the world to me. I also really appreciate your patience during the entry hiccup. I’m grateful the neighbors could step in quickly, and I’m always here to make sure guests feel supported and at ease. You were a joy to host, and I’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime!
