Luxury Detached Bungalow In The Beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds

Mon Abri is a luxurious, spacious bungalow, with beautiful private gardens. Located in the charming village of Hemingby. Perfect for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds, its market towns, coastal resorts and the magnificent city of Lincoln. Fully centrally heated. The dining kitchen is fully equipped to the highest standard. A spacious dining room has patio doors to the large private gardens. The comfortable lounge is fitted with TV/DVD player, HiFi system and broadband. There are two double bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes and one with a wall mounted TV. The bathroom contains a toilet, full sized bath and a walk-in shower. There is a second toilet in the utility/garage area adjoining the house. This area also houses washing machine, tumble dryer and sink unit. Outside there is a paved patio with table and chairs, a swing seat and BBQ.

You will never regret your stay. In fact you will wish to stay longer. Considering how often we travel around the world from New Zealand this was by far our favorite place and Malcom was the star of the show with his amazing personality and fresh veg.

Perfect holiday home

The bungalow is in a quiet, rural location. It has everything you could need, I've never had such a well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the garden is lovely and Malcolm is on hand next door to provide produce from his garden and give any help that you need. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in this area of Lincolnshire.

A lovely place.

The bungalow was nice and roomy and well maintained and clean. It has a large garden.The owner lives next door so check in was easy and he was very welcoming and helpful. The village was quite small but this suited us fine and it was only a 10 minute drive to the nearest town with shops and restaurants. The village has just a village hall, church and pub 10 minutes walk away and is well-located for day trips around Lincolnshire

Good accommodation in a quiet peaceful setting

Mon Abri is situated in a quiet lane next to the owners house. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped in a peaceful setting, but not far from the main roads into Lincoln, the coast and the Wolds. We were greeted by Malcolm who showed us round and had left us milk, eggs, tomatoes etc, and made sure during our stay that everything was okay, which it was. We had never been to this area before, but are so glad we have found this part of England as there is so much to see and do. We will definitely return and would have no hesitation in booking a stay at Mon Abri.

Idyllic property in a tranquil setting

The property is well equipped and exceptionally clean. The pretty well maintained garden is lovely to sit in, with just the noise of the birds, and occasional "moo" in the distance from a Cow! The owners provided bread, milk, butter and a Plum loaf, along with produce from their garden, which we were able to pick. We had some lovely runner beans, cucumber and courgette. The property although down a quiet lane, is well situated for visiting many places in this stunning county. This is our second stay at Mon Abri, and we would thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect and immaculate bungalow

We stayed in this beautiful bungalow over the long Easter weekend. The bungalow itself was immaculate. Couldn't have asked for more by way of internal space, appliances and cleanliness. The garden was breath-taking. Our two little girls loved running around, and it was perfect for our Easter Egg hunt. It would have been lovely to have sat out in the swing seat on a summer evening, but unfortunately weather didn't permit this. Malcolm the owner was friendly and available without being obtrusive. If we decide to return to this part of the country, we'd definitely stay here again!

Comfort and hospitality in the Lincolnshire Wolds

We had a wonderful stay in this very spacious accomodation in the Wolds. Malcolm, who lives next door is charming, and as previous guest have said, grows the most delicious tomatoes. The pears and apples are also lovely. You will find everything you could posssibly need in this property, witha bonus being the large American Style fridge. We visited Lincoln, the coast and Gunby Hall (National Trust) and also had a very relaxing time in the home. We hope to revisit this property as we have lots of things yet to see. We will have to hope it is available when next we vist the UK. Thank you, Malcolm and Jil,l for your excellent communication and making us so comfortable.

Great friendly place to stay.

Very comfort, clean, well equipped and lots of extras. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. It was a pleasure to meet Malcolm who brought us home grown raspberries and tomatoes. Altogether a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend this property.

Malcolm and Gill made us feel at home.

Very clean, great WiFi, squirrels in the garden. You'll find a recordplayer and lots of Jim Reeves records. Owner Malcolm will make you feel welcome. Trips to Lincoln, the Lancaster, antiques, is all in the neighbourhood. We had a wonderful time.

Fabulous property

Great location to explore Lincolnshire. Host Malcolm was friendly, helpful and available if needed. We had a brilliant week visiting Lincoln (Cathedral outstanding) and small Lincolnshire towns. Louth was our favourite - with its market and lots of foodie places. Also many pubs for lunch within easy distance. Recommended.

Relaxing Time

This was one of the best holiday homes we have been to. It was very well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. It’s a lovely bungalow and Malcolm was a wonderful host. We will certainly go again.

A peaceful retreat

We had a lovely, relaxing and peaceful stay in Mon Abri. We recharged the batteries and enjoyed getting away from it all. The host was on hand to help with any queries but we had all the amenities we needed. Thank you again.

Excellent family break

Had a great week at this beautiful cottage set in a quiet village setting surrounded by open fields. Owners were very welcoming and friendly and the garden vegetables were a highlight of our stay. Would not hesitate to return in future.

Wonderful stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mon Abri. Jill and Malcolm were lovely hosts, providing excellent communication before our break and making us feel very welcome on our arrival. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a very comfortable stay and the super weather that we had gave us many opportunities to enjoy the beautiful garden. Highly recommended. August stay

Had a wonderful week staying at this property. Very spacious and a lovely big well looked after garden. The hosts were excellent and resolved any queries straight away. The location was quiet, peaceful and there was a children’s park at the end of the road which was perfect for our 4 year old and our friends 9 year old to play in. We visited quite a lot of Lincolnshire towns and seaside resorts most of which were within 40mins of the house. In the local area we tried a number pubs for lunch or dinner all of which were very nice, there was also a fantastic bakery in Horncastle which was 5mins drive away. Had a great stay and will definitely consider visiting again.

A great ‘home from home’

We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Mon Abri. Peaceful, quiet, spacious and comfortable. Malcolm showed us round his adjoining garden and said we could help ourselves to any of the produce. It wasn’t possible to resist the offer after tasting his tomatoes. Certainly on our list if we return to Lincolnshire b
