Cabin est niché sur le coin nord-ouest de Beautiful Long Lake à Cheboygan MI. Cabine a deux chambres avec # 1-lit queen avec une commode (comprend tous les draps et literie), # 2-a des lits superposés avec un double sur le fond et un jumeau sur le dessus (comprend tous les draps et la literie). Cuisine complète avec cuisinière, micro-ondes, table et chaises, réfrigérateur, grille-pain et cafetière (tasse unique Keurig aussi). Toutes les fournitures de cuisine dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour votre séjour. Salon a un canapé, fauteuil, TV, DVD et magnétoscope. Télévision par câble. La salle de bain a une toilette plus grande et une douche carrelée. Le sunporch à l'avant de la cabine a deux canapés, un canapé-lit. s'asseoir et profiter de votre livre ou papier préféré et une vue de Long Lake. Votre propre plage avec foyer, terrasse en bois avec table et chaises, et un quai pour garer votre bateau. Il y a un bateau à aubes disponible avec la location. Long Lake est un excellent lac toutes saisons, où vous pourrez pêcher, faire du bateau, nager, faire du paddle-board, du bateau à aubes et du jet ski.

We were very happy with our stay and the communication with the hosts. Although some furniture and linens were "well-loved", the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the swim mat and paddle boats and appreciated the small A/C since we had over 90 degree temps each day.

“Up North” Fun

Great location

It works well as a base for seeing several points of interest in the tip of the mitten and the eastern U.P. Cottage was warm and cozy with a great view of Long Lake.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this property! The cabin was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. They settimg on Long Lake was beautiful and quiet. There is plenty of activities available to enjoy the lake like kayaks and a pedal pontoon. I would definitely book here again and recommend anyonre else to do the same!

Absolute serenity

Relaxing

We had a great time and enjoyed the cottage and the lake. Dana greeted us when we arrived,and when we had a question, responded immediately. We stayed 4 nights, and spent the evenings on the front porch. Also had a fire on the beach one night which was great. Thanks, Dana!

Cozy, clean and wonderful!

We loved staying here for a last-minute fall getaway! The cottage was spotless and had everything one could need. We appreciated that the owners, Dana and Terry (who live next door with their nice lab, Gus) provided a COVID safe check-in and are the nicest people. We took day trips to the U.P, and all around northern Michigan to see all the gorgeous fall colors! The location on Long Lake is so nice and next time we plan on coming to fish it!

Perfect Location!

We had a wonderful week for the 4th of July! We loved the row boat, kayak, paddle boards, and paddle boats. There was so much to do, the kids were outside nearly the entire time. Thank you! The location is perfect, close to the bridge and just a 45 minute drive to Petoskey and Charlevoix. It was rustic but very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Fishing was great and the kids loved the floating dock with the slide! We hope to come back next summer!

Cabin by the lake in Chebygan

The experience renting the property was excellent. No issues there. The cottage was ok. Outside area by the lake was very nice. It was a little outdated but I did know that from the pictures. The bedrooms could have used more lighting & the bed was not very comfortable. We did have a good time but I would not stay there again.

FABULOUS!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying here this past week. We were very sad to leave! The location was ideal for us to go exploring on day trips, and days spent at the cabin were superb! We spent time reading by the lake, and on a couple of nights we went out on the dock to look at the stars and planets. What a glorious sight! We even got to see the International Space Station cross the sky above us! The cabin was a perfect size for us, very clean and well maintained, and we would love to come back next year. Thank you, Dana and Terry!!

Getaway with Grandkids

Great weekend with the kids. They had a blast fishing almost non-stop. Each child caught at least one fish. Terry, or his son, was kind enough to show my grandson how to properly filet a fish, which was much appreciated. The reason I gave only 4 starts for accuracy of the online listing, is the swimming area was not very nice. There is a lot of seaweed that comes very close to shore, so the area for swimming was very small. Three of the four kids got in anyway and had a good time with the lily pad. Overall I'd definitely recommend this spot.

Undisclosed pet fee

It was a nice cabin for our little family. If we had needed to use the sleeper sofa on the porch it would’ve been way too cold though. Also, when I originally booked, there was no mention in the ad or on the invoice for an additional charge per pet and we were asked to pay 100/dog after booking. We would not have booked if we knew there was a charge per pet on top of what the original charge per night was. When I booked, the invoice said “all fees included”. The ad has since been updated to include the charge per pet. The lake and having a dock available for our boat was nice, but we won’t book this cabin again in the future.

It was nice meeting you both. Thank you for staying on long lake. Apologies for that fee not working for you. You were the first one to have problems with that when booking. Fees were always there, just added additional information in Description so there is no misunderstanding for future guests.

Amazing Cabin and Hosts

We had a great time staying at Dana's cabin. It was clean and had all the things needed for a comfortable stay. The location and the views from the cabin were extraordinary. Thanks Dana and Terry for making our stay so memorable. Would definitely stay again! :)

Perfect cabin, wonderful lake, great times!

My husband and I stayed at this cabin with our 2.5 year old son for a week. We even took a dog with us which was amazing. We absolutely LOVED our time here! Dana was very friendly, accommodating, and easy to contact if we ever needed anything. The lake was incredible, very quiet and nice to swim in! We could use a paddle boat, row boat, kayak, paddle boards, lily pad, and even sand toys throughout our stay! They got lots of use! There is also a very nice fire pit that we used quite a few times. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, dish cable on a huge big screen TV, and extra blankets and pillows if you need them. The location is not far from Mackinac island so we took a day trip there. However, our favorite thing was spending time at the cabin swimming and hanging out by the lake. We hope to be back again in the years to come!

Wonderful cabin on the lake

We loved the lake view and easy lake access for the boat! Plenty for the kids to do and shallow sandy beach right out our back door. The neighbors and owners were very friendly and accomodating! We loved this cabin and would love to go back again!
