Moose River Cabin 1 - Allies

Cabin 1, also known as Allies, (on the left in picture) is a cozy, rustic cabin that sits along Moose River in Rockwood Maine, which flows between Brassua Lake and Moosehead Lake and is a popular fishing destination. Step out onto the deck to grill or enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Inside are two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. It is close to the road so expect some traffic noise. If you're bringing your boat, you can tie it up out front. If you don't have a boat, you can still fish right off the dock! If you're bringing snowmobiles, the trail is across the road so you can leave directly from your cabin.

Great cabin to stay in, and if it being on the road it was very quiet. Just little parking but that didn’t stop us from having fun!

Rockwood cabin

It was a decent cabin overall!I was disapointed I could not watch tvbecause thier was no signal. I tried unpluggingthe wires etc but still no signal. I contacted theowner & was informed the cable was shut off..Also I didnt use the shower because it looked moldyaround the top of the tub.

Thanks for the review Craig. I just wanted to clarify since you made it sound like we didn't pay the cable payments and therefore it shut off. Moosehead Cable actually went out of business. Thanks for the input though. We have bought a new smart TV so people can stream what they want now. We had it up there and offered to have someone install it for the rest of your stay but you said not to worry. The shower has some stains from the extremely hard water up here, but we will work on this more, especially if there is mold. Will definitely be looking into this. I was not aware. Appreciate the feedback!
