Bring your boat or rent one just up the bayou'. Fish or crab from the backyard. or enjoy mudbugs at Kenney's Seafood ( 1mi.) has fabulous live and cooked seafood. Enjoy water sports on the bayou or relax on the back loggia. Four bedrooms/3.5baths, large living areas, gameroom, wet bar, stainless appliances in kitchen, granite countertops. Three bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has two single beds and Master has King size bed. Always clean. The Bayou Liberty area of Slidell is thirty minutes to the French Quarter on I-10

Great family getaway

This property is perfect for the family! Our kids are of the age where we now have to rent three or four hotel rooms to travel. This house was perfect, where everyone had their own room and private space, and at half the cost of what a hotel would have been. Magnificent house made us feel right at home. Comfortable furnishings, room for the kids to watch a movie while others used the downstairs to read or relax. Great patio for a quiet morning breakfast. Kitchen was well equipped. And, the kids loved the opportunity to fish right in the backyard!!

Slidell for Mardi Gras

This is an absolutely wonderful house. When we booked we were expecting to have 6 or 7 people in our party, but a couple couldn't make it so there were just 4 of us. So it was probably a little crazy to have this much house for just 4, but we loved every minute of it. We each had our own corner with the perfect bedroom to suit our needs, and then congregated in the living room, kitchen or back patio for meals and conversation. Our excursions into the city were hit or miss, given the crowds, etc, but we all agreed the time at the house was the highlight of our trip. There were a couple very minor housekeeping issues when we checked in, but small enough that we didn't even mention to the property manager. This place is very secluded, and there's not a lot going on in Slidell - although a 24 hour grocery and plenty of fast food options are nearby. If your goal is getting to and from New Orleans, definitely rent a car. It was a $65 Uber from the airport, and on a busy weekend like Mardi Gras it would be $100+ from the French Quarter. We drove down to City Park in NOLA, left the cars, and did Uber from there which was only about $25. One night I also took a drive over to Biloxi to check out the big Gulf Coast casinos, and it was an easy 50-min drive. Overall, if you don't mind being away from the action, this might be the best option out there.

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 12 to spread out.

Check in and check out of the property were seamless. It is a beautiful home with plenty of room for a large family or group of friends.

Great location for a group!

My family and close friends attended the Mardi Gras parades in Slidell this year. The house was perfect for us all!!! Great vacation rental for a large group.

What a Beautiful Home

We went for Christmas break and loved it. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. We had a little trouble checking in but once we got ahold of the host they were really great. Super accommodating, amazing kitchen and did we mention lots of space? The house was near the highway and easy to get to New Orleans in 30 minutes or so. We would totally stay again .

Simply amazing

This property was truly amazing. Mrs. Evonne was an excellent host, she answered every email and call. My family and I had Thanksgiving here and we came from all over to meet at this location, and it didn't disappoint. I definitely recommend this home to anyone who has a family and want to spend quality time with one another. The home is beautiful with a great view. This house will definitely be on our radar for next year.

Beautiful Property

We had a great time staying here for my dads 50th. It was nice to have a beautiful home not in the middle of the craziness that is the city, yet still close enough to travel into town when we wanted. Definitely recommend

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this home. The pictures were accurate. Lots of space. You’ll need GPS to find it, but once there, it was a lovely setting.

We were unprepared for the swarm of termites that took over the house when we opened the door.

The property was very nice and very well maintained. The small fridge in the media room did not work but it was not a show stopper. I would bring my family back once a year to enjoy the comfort and the area. Evonne was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with! The Lloyd family is very appreciative of your time and efforts!

Felt like home

My family and I stayed for a long weekend this past weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful. When you walk in it just feels like home. Very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. The kitchen is beautiful. This is where we hang out as a family in the mornings and evenings. All the beds are comfortable and plenty of towels for everyone. I did not have to constantly wash towels which was so nice. My granddaughters loved exploring the house and the yard. Easy drive to New Orleans and Bay St Louis-Gulfport areas. If we ever get back to that area we will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
