We stayed at this home in August and enjoyed many aspects of it — the décor, landscaping, location, and pool itself are appealing. However, there were several issues that made the experience fall short of expectations at the 1,500 nightly rate.Most concerning were safety hazards:•The pool deck had multiple cracked or uneven planks and raised nails, which created tripping hazards for our family throughout the week.•Many walkway pavers were loose or unstable, making it difficult and even unsafe to walk, especially at night.Other aspects of the property also felt below standard:•Outdoor furniture was worn and in need of deep cleaning.•Basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, towels/linens, hangers) were limited.•The hot tub displayed an “overdue for water change” notice.•Pest control sprayed the property without advance notice, despite pets being present.While we appreciated the positives, these maintenance and safety issues should be addressed before future guests arrive. With improvements, this could be a great rental, but in its current condition it does not reflect the premium pricing.
