Location, location, location. Beautiful beach and sunsets. The cottage has much potential, but has been sadly neglected over the years. The outdoor shower is amazing. We did enjoy our visit.
We loved staying at this rustic little cottage. The character and charm was so cozy. We were happy to see that our family of 7 fit comfortably. The views are spectacular. The owners are kind and communicated well. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Thank you Brittanie! We're glad you enjoyed Camelot as much as our family has over the years!
This house was perfect for our family of 5 adults (and dog) for the week! Adorable cottage that had everything we needed. We basically lived at the beach, on the amazing deck and in the porch the whole time! The beach was beautiful and we really loved being able to continue enjoying it once we came back up to the house. The location of the home was close to grocery stores and adorable downtown Holland. There are also wonderful wide walking paths surrounding the area along the main roads. We hope to come back again next summer!
Bill and Gilda are very polite and easy to communicate with. The cottage was just what we wanted for some family time.
I would definitely recommend it and go myself again.

Thank you Jill for your kind words and we hope you come back again!
This place has an authentic cottage feel. We absolutely love the history in the cottage. All the wood made it very cozy like you’re at your own family cottage. Beds are comfy, view is spectacular, the outdoor shower, a plus. The farmers market in Holland on Saturday was an amazing, fun experience. If you’re there on a Saturday, it’s a must! we had an amazing vacation!
We had a wonderful week, very relaxing, beautiful weather. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of beds for extras. Spacious beach area. Property managers are great to work with.
Thank you….

What a GEM! We loved our week here. The cottage had so much character and felt so homey. You can't beat the deck overlooking Lake Michigan, the beautiful sunsets, and the perfect lake breeze. Beds were very comfortable and loved the glider on the screened in porch. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Tina for the kind words about Camelot! We certainly have enjoyed it for many years and love to have new families experience the charm of Camelot. Look forward to a return visit!
this stay brought me right back to my childhood; there is something timeless and romantic about this cottage and the space the owners have created. falling asleep to the waves, sipping morning coffee to the expansive lakeshore view, sleeping in the loft, grilling, the sunsets, even the rainstorms - you forget about the world.
the cottage is spotless, the owners were great with communication, and the home welcomes you in as if you belong.
we cant wait to come back - hopefullly, every year!

Location, location, location! :)
Camelot is the perfect spot for a summer vacation! This was our second stay, and I still can't believe the views of Lake Michigan and sunsets from the deck. It's also really peaceful. We pretty much just heard the waves and boats going by all week. But when you want some excitement, there's a lot to do in Grand Haven, downtown Holland, Saugatuck and South Haven, just a short drive away. The cottage is rustic but clean and has everything you need to make meals, sleep comfortably, hang out on the beach and play in the water. And we love that it's pet friendly!
The quality of the sandy Lake Michigan beach is excellent. The quality of the sleeping comfort, not so much. Mattresses/beds need to be updated for a good night’s sleep. There were plenty of games and beach toys. The kitchen was reasonably stocked, although a tea kettle for boiling water would have been appreciated. We brought our own sharp knives and clean sponges for dishwashing. There were lots of fans, which we needed as it was fairly hot in the house. Check-in was easy.
Loved being right on the beach. Everything about the house was just as described and worked out great. It's a vintage lakeshore cottage. Cozy and homey. There were no pictures of the bathroom listed but it was updated and nice. The bedrooms upstairs are all open above the walls which is great for ventilation and cool breezes. Noise from each room wasn't a problem due to the waves from lake Michigan providing a natural sound machine.
We were happy that the stairs had been repaired and access was available to the private beach which we enjoyed immensely! The upstairs has two bedrooms with full size beds and another large bedroom with a bunkbed, a twin bed, and two full-size beds. Lots of room to sleep! Plus downstairs there was a daybed and a futon that could be for sleeping. There were different areas to eat in dining room, 3-season porch, or deck with picnic table. We loved the outside shower and charcoal grill, and water toys. ☺️
This was our 4th stay at Camelot. We did miss the beach access, but everything else was just as we remembered: a very cozy, comfortable spot to relax and watch amazing sunsets on the deck. We always appreciate the dog friendliness too.
Property had a lot of character and was very homey. The view was amazing. Sad to see the shores erosion but thats nature. The host responded very quickly to my questions and even checked in after a storm. I would rent again just based on the view alone. Also had plenty of essentials to start with and games.
The views were amazing and the home had everything we needed and more!
We appreciated how every room had a fan, the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cooking pans, etc., and the owners provided little and big necessary items. We felt well provided for and enjoyed every moment. Thank you.
The lake cottage was exactly what we were looking for, that old school rustic charm with a great outdoor space. The sunsets were spectacular and there was plenty of outdoor space on the cliff overlooking the lake for all of our guests to enjoy together. The location was conveniently located between several great beaches and parks, although some were closed do to severe erosion over the winter months and ongoing maintenance activities. The lack of HVAC made the nights cold but comfortable for sleeping since we brought plenty of blankets and the days were very comfortable with plenty of shade trees and open windows to keep things cool. We all had a wonderful time!
