About this property

Wandering Willow – Private Stargazing Glamping Tent with Fire Pit & Open Skies

Wandering Willow – A Bohemian Stargazing Retreat

Step into Wandering Willow, a canvas hideaway inspired by the graceful willow tree and styled with a soft, bohemian touch. This spacious 19.5-foot tent offers 289 square feet of airy interior space with an 11-foot ceiling—perfect for relaxing, recharging, and connecting with nature.

Sleep beneath the stars thanks to transparent PVC skylight panels and a sewn-in ceiling curtain that can be clipped closed for privacy or tied back for panoramic night-sky views. Inside, you’ll find a plush king-size bed with premium linens and a twin XL futon for extra guests, along with full climate control (A/C and heat). A cozy kitchenette makes your stay simple, with a microwave, mini fridge/freezer, and coffee maker, plus stocked towels, blankets, and cutlery.

Four screened windows and a zippered door allow for airflow and privacy, while the 360-degree double sidewall system lets you roll up the outer canvas to reveal bug-free mesh or open everything up to the forest breeze. Step outside to your private fire pit with a grill top, picnic table, and chairs—ideal for morning coffee or campfire dinners.

Guests also have access to a clean, shared bathhouse with private showers and restrooms, just a short walk away. Firewood is available for purchase, and a potable water spigot is located nearby for fills and rinses. Wi-Fi is available near the bathhouse if you need to check in.
Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a quiet woodland retreat, Wandering Willow combines bohemian style, stargazing magic, and modern comfort in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks.

The owners met us at the bathhouse to take us back to our tent. The tent was elevated on a platform, it was very comfortable. The air conditioning kept our tent very cool. We were able to have coffee and warm muffins the next morning. Glamping, the way to camp!

The Yurt was beautiful and welcoming. It was a super cold weekend, and Rachel helped us with an extra comforter and heater! We are planning to come back in the Spring!
