Charming Ranch Home, Backyard Sanctuary, GameRoom, Convenient to Town Center

This is an attached three-bedroom ranch with an eat-in kitchen and Sliders to a 13 x14 deck overlooking the large manicured shared backyard. Ceiling fans in every room,and air conditioning in two .Living Room has a new portable unit. It is a large driveway and large enough for a small boat or trailer to park as well. Covered front porch. Freshly renovated with new paint ,new bedding, brand new chiropractic care grade mattresses, granite counter-top in back bedroom, new kitchen flooring, new ceramic cook-top. Updated kitchen in 2021. Smoke-free and pet-free home. I promise you will have a clean odor free home to call your own during your stay. This is your space and has nothing personal of mine in the closets that you have to work around.... it is all yours to enjoy!!!!

Lots of Lighting in the backyard and lights on the front of the house so if you drive up during the dark the front porch will be lit up for your convenience. If you get in after dark I can have the house lights on for your arrival. I also have night lights in every room so if you wake up and don't know where you are you'll at least be able to see where you are. Feel free to unplug as needed.

Special events like Eastern States Exposition, Six Flags and the new MGM Casino in Springfield would definitely be worth the trip. Also kayaking ,canoeing fishing and tubing on the Farmington River or lake Congamond are quite popular as summer sports. Both just within 15 minutes.

Leaf peeping is exceptional in these Rolling Hills and Valleys, especially a hike to the Heublein Tower this time of year. Many walking trails nearby to explore for hours, such as Maclean Game Refuge, Enders State park, rails to trails, etc.

There is skiing in the winter in New Hartford Barkhamsted area which is only about 20 minutes away at Ski Sundown. I am about halfway between Hartford and Springfield. Rails to Trails is less than a half mile from my house and Eastern States Exposition is about a half an hour. The new MGM Casino is about 25 minutes away.

Check in is a breeze with no key needed, works by electronic code. Check out can be flexible if prearranged.The property has a 43" smart tv with dish cable and netflix for your viewing pleasure.If you subscribe to any TV services, you can log on here and see what you normally would many preloaded apps already installed on TV... Washer and dryer, new appliances, full kitchen with tons of storage. 10 minutes from Bradley Airport.

Nearby Suffield Academy, Westledge, Ethel Walkers, Masters School and many others are not very far...

Neighboring towns are Simsbury, East Granby, Suffield, Southwick, Bloomfield , Granville, close by Windsor Locks,

I do ihave different spectacular garden every year and I have many trellises birdhouses statues and many seating areas outside. Due to the fact that I have a very shy, but obedient dog ( who wont be a bother)and a shared back yard, other dogs are accepted by approval only.

My house is not child proof, so Children under 12 are discouraged. if a special exception is made with prior approval from owner, then they are counted as a person, even infants, which is 25 per person per night.

lovely comfy home for a short or long stay

I was impressed with the cleanliness, number of towels, snakcs and coffee supplies provided, accessibility and friendliness of the host, and the great location. The property is on a fairly busy road but is screened by trees and has a beautiful backyard, so that you feel you are at a retreat, while at the same time, you are close to stores and restaurants. There was sufficient space and the number of bathrooms and baths as well as bedrooms at such a reasonable rate made this one of my favorite rentals.

You can check in at your convenience without me having to be here.I will give you a 4 digit numeric code for my SCHLAGE lock, and you can let yourself in... Code is changed after every guest. I will be available after work hours and close by if you need me. This property is like a duplex. Owner lives on the other side, yet you have total privacy.

I will strive to may your stay the best it can be and are attentive to your needs and special requests. I am easily reachable at all times or will respond quickly if you cant catch me live.

Why they chose this property

I am close to town so you could walk there in 2 minutes! Also within 15 minutes to Lake Congamond which has 2 public boat launches. 6 miles to Bradley airport for quick overnight stays, as well. Halfway in between Hartford and Springfield, 30 min from Eastern States Fairground.

Granby is a HIP Cool Town with lots to offer the hiker, boater, or scenery seeker, but also has SOOO many cool restaurants, and live music and special events for the adventure seekers, Covid has made us better with more ( safe) variety, just ask me about the special events, because they change weekly !

RAILS TO TRAILS is a very wide bicycle path which goes about 45 miles through many scenic areas and towns with lots of shade and scenery.It is the old railroad track which has been resurfaced. There are many parking areas alongside the path, and it is about 1/2 mile from my house.

I have a beautiful and expansive manicured backyard for you to enjoy from the back deck ...or beyond! Plenty of meditative private areas with night lighting if you want your privacy, or just go veg in the gameroom downstairs to get away and have your private area. I am animal and bird friendly, so I dont put chemicals onmy lawn to make it look flawless, but there are birdfeeders on the bathroom garden windows ! So I bring nature right to you ! Come see and enjoy the beauty of my lovely yard !

What makes this property unique

you will have a clean vacant property with all the amenities you would expect at home:
BATHROOMS: liquid and bar soap, shampoo and conditioner ( 2 kinds) washcloths and scrubbies, nonslip shower mat with handgrips installed for safety.
Extra handtowels, large plush towels, pillowcases, bathmats, in large linen closet.
Medicine cabinet over sink has extra new packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste,bandaids.
Vanity has a magnifying mirror, hairdryer ( w diffuser)
BEDROOMS:
each has at least 2 luggage rack stands, plenty of nonslip hangers,and pant hangers too. Extra new and clean pillows of all types ( if one doesn't work,then the next one will !!) In winter there are always extra blankets or comforters in the closets and clean sheets in the drawers...
KITCHEN:
Full working kitchen with all the essentials you would have in your own home. Microwave, oven ,cook top ,pots ,pans ,skillets, mixing bowls, kcup coffee maker and all accessories for slicing and dicing too .
I also supply about 50 different kcups and teas,along with about 5 or so cereals,and milk of your choice. I will also have creamers and some standard condiments like ketchup, mustard.
LAUNDRY
steam upright or horizontal iron, ironing board, folding table, detergent and dryer sheets,and top of the line new washer and dryer. There is also a hanging clothes rack.
