Come and enjoy a tranquil stay with an island vibe. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home will comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons. Large kitchen and living space for everyone. Situated in a quiet suburb on the outskirts of downtown Hartford, it is 12 minutes from Bradley International Airport, 20 minutes from the Basketball Hall of Fame and Springfield Museums Quadrangle. In the region is the Connecticut Science Museum, The Mark Twain House, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, and much more.
The space
Bring your beautiful family to this cheerful home with lots of space for a comfortable fun stay. Great spot to get together! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this is also great for remote work. In addition, piano players can fill the house with melody from the grand piano available for your use. If not the indoors, relax, read a book and enjoy the outdoor on the newly constructed back porch. The entire location was put together for your comfort, relaxation and for you to unwind.

This house was exactly what we wanted and needed! A snow storm hit days before I arrived and the driveway was clear and we had everything we needed to enjoy this snowy paradise! Thank you for all the accommodations in the house that allowed us to travel light! It was an amazing experience and we loved every min!

This lovely home has a fully equipped kitchen, including spices, condiments, snacks and other staples. There's also plenty of dish soap, baggies, paper products, detergent, shampoo and bath supplies. It's obvious a lot of care has been taken to provide a comfortable stay. All 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are conveniently on the main floor. This is a safe and quiet location within easy reach of the highway, airport and the many interesting sights in downtown Hartford or other towns including the awesome State Capitol and homes of Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe. The Wadsworth Atheneum art museum is second to none! We enjoyed the piano, even though it could use a tuning. The Amazon Fire t.v. allows you to access your own apps or home Xfinity account. It was nice to have a hiking path behind the home as well. This home is a good value for family or visits with friends.

Great weekend trip!

We stayed at this house for the weekend of the UConn Health half marathon and 5k. The house was easy to get to and felt very cozy. The beds were comfortable, the ACs worked well, and it was well stocked with anything we needed. The check-in and check-out process was easy. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the area and would stay in this house again if we visited the area.

Great all around!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. A/C units worked really well in each of the rooms, which was critical on a hot and humid summer weekend. Would definitely stay in the same place again if we come by this region in the future!

Great home to rent

Such a perfect space for us. Home was spotless! We had a wedding in Hartford, three bedrooms worked out perfectly two bathrooms everyone had plenty of space. Beautiful kitchen and amenities. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wish we could’ve stayed longer

Great home in a perfect location!

The home was clean and well cared for, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for every where we wanted to go. We had shopping near by to keep us in groceries, and we had easy access to roads to get us to/from area sites and attractions. The one snow day we had, someone came and cleared the walkways and driveway so we didn't have to, that was a nice surprise, and they even rolled the garbage can out and back on pick up day.

Best place to stay near Hartford

Island Vibes home was absolutely the best place for our 50th reunion from nursing school! Everything was perfect from the 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, large kitchen space to the outdoor deck overlooking beautiful trees & foliage. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Only took 10 minutes to get to downtown Hartford for our event. The host, Jacqueline was terrific, extremely responsive. Many thanks to the host for a wonderful place to stay!

Nice place to stay

House was nice. It had a lot of character. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Loved the grand piano, and stained glass window and light in the hallway. Neighborhood was quiet and yard was nice. There is a walking trail right next to the house that cuts through to the local high school. I would recommend as a nice comfortable place to stay.

Family get away

The house was beautiful, from the decor to the layout! It was perfect for the family! The online images are exactly what we got. The check in process was easy! The neighborhood was quiet and family oriented. The location of the house was wonderful! The house was on a cul-de-sac, with a beautiful back porch. Thank you for great family memories! Beautiful house, creepy over bearing owner

I cant deny how beautiful the house was. It was super clean and stocked with snacks, coffee and everything you can think of. The only issue was the owner. She kept calling me saying she was watching me on camera with my service dogs. Then she said she could tell by the camera that they weren't service dogs, as if you could tell by spying on us through her cameras. It's super creepy to know she was watching us. I disconnected the wifi because God knows where else in the house she had cameras. Overall, she spoiled the perfect trip by being weird and creepy.

Cameras are not allowed inside the house and they are placed outside for your safety. You came with your lying mouth from the get go. The policy state one small dog but you came with 4 dogs and refused to pay any dog fee. You chose not to call VRBO about it because again you know you were lying., even after I reminded you to call them to discuss it. We followed the guidelines on what “Service Animals” are, and you know your dogs did not fall in that category. You then had the nerves to give me an ultimatum to make a decision between you paying for your 4 dogs or getting a 5 star review. The world needs more kindness, put out a little more effort to be in that category.

The house was rented for an unauthorized party even after the listing clearly states parties are not allowed. It was also very disappointing the condition the house was left in.
