La cabaña de Tory Hill se encuentra a siete minutos del Taconic State Park en Copake Falls y a cuatro minutos de la montaña Catamount Ski (parque de aventuras aéreas). Cozy, warm feeling from the seasoned wood of which it's constructed and the ideal space between properties. Not too isolated but you can't see the adjacent properties.

We LOVED our stay! Host is super responsive and helpful. The cabin is charming and rustic with everything a visitor could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved the area for hiking, dining choices, farmer’s market and stores. A great find!

A great little getaway for us over the holidays. The fireplace was in use all the time, keeping us toasty during our winter stay, as we played games and read books. Vivi was accessible and promptly responded when we had a question. Loved the area!

Second time here just as great

This is my second time at this cabin. I came with my spouse for our anniversary and it was a great time. The cabin is perfectly located for day trips and has a fantastic firepit with well stocked firewood for relaxing evenings. The covered porch is a great place to read. The owner added cutting boards and the oven/range was new since I was last there.

Great Thanksgiving Celebration

As is our custom we picked a place to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. The location is usually in an area that is quiet, out in the country. This property did not disappoint us. Vivianna is a great host, always answering any questions or concerns. Great location, tucked away off the road, but close to all things one may need. Great fireplace, cozy living room dining area and bedrooms. We would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to just relax and enjoy the countryside.

Rustic get-away, perfect for pet owners!!

My husband and I were searching for a rustic cabin in the Berkshires to bring our traveling JEEP-kitten for our anniversary weekend. This place was perfect! The screened in porch was wonderful (the cat couldnt get out and for the most-part, the bugs couldnt get in!) Just make sure you keep the screen door shut! ;) We had an indoor fire in the fireplace due to a rain storm and enjoyed every minute of our visit!! We will definitely visit again as we love the Berkshires and all the beautiful views, wineries, and cideries!!

Perfect location with a cozy stay

We (2 adults and 2 kids) used the screened-in porch for our meals, play games and to sit and read. We hiked the many trails of water falls and biked the rail trail (super beautiful) to small towns and through beautiful scenery. We also spent some time at Catamount Mtn in the adveture course; super fun! The cabin had everything we needed and the shower had good pressure and great water temperature. Viv was super easy to contact and generous with recommendations. We are telling everyone was an amazing time we had. Thank you!

Cute and cozy retreat

Communication with Vivi was great. Stayed here with a friend for a writing retreat, and it was everything I'd hoped for. The cabin is set on a hill overlooking the valley. Wonderful fire pit and excellent stargazing. Very generous wood supply. Cabin was rustic and clean with comfortable beds. Recommend bringing your own cooking equipment if you plan on cooking, the kitchen lacked some basics including a cutting board and a larger skillet. Location wise it's 5 minutes away from everything you need which was a huge plus. Will definitely be back.

Hi Ash, I am sorry you somehow missed the three cutting boards in the kitchen. Also, I will get a bigger skillet - although there's a regular size frying pan already, besides the small one and the small skillet. Thanks very much for your feedback.

Charming, comfortable cottage

We loved Viviana's cottage, particularly the screened in porch which was large enough to host our friends for dinner and conversation afterward. The furniture--porch, living room and bedroom was comfortable. And best of all, she let us bring our cats. We are not crazy cat people, one of them has medical issues that make it impossible for us to leave her with a sitter. We hope to come again sometime. Hopefully, the next time the cottage will be cleaner than it was this past visit. Nothing terrible, but given the times....

Charming and cozy

For fans of old-fashioned country cottages, THIS is your spot. Quiet, beautifully wooded setting… screened porch… dark wood paneling…comfy beds … we loved it! Glad I didn’t want to do any fancy cooking, as the kitchen is sparsely equipped, but that is a tiny issue. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Cool, Cozy Cottage

This simple, charming house was a very comfortable place to beat the heat on some hot July days. The screened porch is fantastic and we enjoyed dinner outside every night. It's a great base for Columbia County and the Berkshires, with good places to walk just a short drive from the house. Vivi was a wonderful host.

Fantastic girls' weekend

I booked this cabin for a "girls weekend in the woods" and it didn't disappoint! It is perfect and cozy and exactly what we were looking for. It rained yesterday, so we weren't able to use the fire pit, but we enjoyed being inside with having absolutely nothing to have to do. The porch is perfect and if it wasn't so windy, we'd have been out there all day. We can't wait to go back again. We're gonna try fall next time when the leaves are in color. Vivi communicated with me from when I first booked and answered all my silly questions with absolute grace. She's a fantastic host!

Peaceful getaway...

Vivi's cottage is clean, convenient, and comfy. Communicating with her is a breeze; she is prompt, organized, and thoroughly delightful. The location is perfect for exploring all the options offered by the Berkshires. If you are into walks, check out the Mary V. Flynn Preserve in Stockbridge as well as the Rail Trial, close to the cottage. If you are a bit more adventurous, Bash Bish Falls is simply beautiful and not crowded this time of year. The stairs to the base have recently been reopened. If long drives are more your style, think about taking the road to the summit of Mount Greylock. Then return to the cottage to relax on the spacious porch before you light a fire in the fireplace on a chilly evening. We enjoyed every moment in this private, peaceful location. We cannot wait to return. Thank you, Vivi, for sharing your lovely home with us.
