St.Lawrence Riverfront Getaway

Leave your daily stresses behind in this cozy riverfront cottage and enjoy the stunning view of the St.Lawrence River be it from the comfortable inside, the deck or out on the family harbor. A launch and dock space allow for boating, swimming or fishing just bring your gear.

This cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (with washer and dryer), fully-equipped kitchen and a great room with gorgeous views of the river. It comfortably sleeps 4 (maximum of 4 adults) in two full size beds.

It is conveniently located between Cape Vincent and Clayton, and is a perfect starting point to explore the Thousand Islands region as well as the eastern shores of Lake Ontario. Close to some of the best fresh water fishing and boating as well as such activities as golfing, horseback riding, sightseeing and shopping. You will find a variety of great dining options, be it casual or fine dining, as well as wineries, breweries and even a couple of distilleries in the area.

It offers a friendly, casual atmosphere where you can feel like you are part of the family which is what the river is all about... summers don't get much better than this!

Our stay was very nice. The location was perfect, the weather (which cannot be controlled) was very windy. The kitchen was adequate, all rooms were very clean and comfortable. Communication with our host was by text, she was very responsive.

Our stay was excellent, though rain put a damper on our last day. Everything needed was available. The cottage was clean and tidy, and well furnished. We had people over and had plenty of room. Grill worked very well.I would recommend.

New Favorite Place

This is the best place we have stayed booking places through VRBO. It is such a cute place, right by the water. Really well stocked to be able to just stay in a cook your meals. Beds were comfortable. View of the river is amazing. Best part is the commincation of the host and the nice small quiet community. We just sat out, enjoyed the river, birds and wildlife. We will definitely come back here. A plus from us!!!

Perfect Spot

The cottage was right on the water as advertised. Sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed watching the boats go by and the water birds that visited. The owner was easy to contact and responded immediately to any needs.

Great weekend stay with family

The property was wonderful with a beautiful location on the St. Lawrence river. The views from inside the cottage were simply incredible. Everything we needed for our trip was available and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was friendly and very helpful with instructions and suggestions. Would love to stay again. Beautiful

This is the second year at this property it is gorgeous the place is clean and the property is really nice close to the river. We were able to see the ships not close but still able to see them. Silke is a great host. She’s friendly and there if needed. Day we left I told her about a an injured seagull and she called the wildlife department to report it. As an animal lover that was awesome to hear. I certainly would recommend this property

Summer family vacation

The property is in a great location right on the river. Family was able to fish, swim and enjoy the water daily. Neighbors were friendly. The full size kitchen was great to utilize for cooking breakfast and dinner every night. And we were able to bring our dog too.

Only a few steps to the water and boat which is protected by a cement marina. Fishing was awesome. Great sunsets. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful area, peaceful, quite

If you need a peaceful vacation, pick this home. Leave your electronics behind and relax. Sit on the deck, BBQ, or sit around the fire pit. Sit at the dining room table for your meals and enjoy the scenery, ships and boats passing by. French Market in town has a variety of food and items to select from. Sight seeing boats nearby. We enjoyed our time very much at this rental.

If I could give 10 stars instead of 5 I’d give it a 20! Our hosts were in contact from the beginning and even post checkout to insure everything was fine. Silke made herself available for any concerns but we had none. Very friendly, accommodating & professional! Just a perfect weekend. Cottage was exactly as described. Clean & orderly. We had everything we needed & just needed to bring our food. The grounds are well kept. The dock was awesome. The views, million dollar! The cottage exceeded our expectations! I would stay here again without hesitation & would highly recommend! Thank you Silke & Brian!

Cozy, comfortable, and great views from the couch!

My parent's and I stayed for a long weekend. It was perfect and pet friendly. Clean and comfortable but the best part was being right on the river. The living room and dining room windows allowed beautiful views and lots of natural lighting. Highly recommended!
