Relax on the couch and let the gentle lake breeze drift through the sliding doors, accompanied by the calming sound of waves just outside. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Ontario from the comfort of the living room or while sipping a drink on the back deck—views that truly never disappoint. Perfect for couples or families, this cozy lakeside home is made for slowing down, unwinding, and creating fun, lasting memories by the water. Only a 15 minute drive from historic Sackets Harbor, which is located directly across the lake. Take a 45-min scenic drive to the beautiful 1000 Islands which straddle the borders of the US & Canada.

2 bedroom house located on the lake. Washer and dryer in home as well as heat and window AC*** in the summer months only Early May- Early September

We stayed here for a month while we were waiting for on base housing to become available on Fort Drum. It was so incredibly relaxing and the views are amazing! Very easy to child proof and perfect for a small family.

The property was such a nice little cozy place. Right on the water, with access, with the sound of the waves every night. The property is a little secluded just with the general area it is in, but there’s a market a little down the road and just about a 20 min drive to Watertown.

Perfect Destination for Relaxation , Comfort & Fun

Traveled from California to New York for son’s graduation and post family vacation . This was one of our stops for half of us which we thoroughly enjoyed . Beautiful lake views with all the comforts of home . Would definitely come back again !

Stellar by the water

Just right for 4 adults and 3 nights. Kitchen well stocked with the right stuff for cooking (which we did). We spent many hours outside on the deck...view was incredible. Would definately stay there again

Relaxing week away

We loved staying here! The home is beautiful, clean and updated. It is centrally located to many Thousand island towns, which we visited. We loved relaxing on the deck and the rocks for the waves, sunsets, and fishing. There was only one bad part having to leave! A grill, firepit and a raft would be bonuses. Mosquito zappers or citronella candles are much needed.
The sky offered a different surprise every night ❤️🌅

Beautiful and relaxing!

What a great place! Beautiful property - great view- so relaxing! The property is exactly as described and shown in the pictures! It is super clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We had busy days traveling to the other small towns in the area but loved coming back to the house to relax on the deck overlooking the water. The host Samantha is very responsive although we really didn't need anything from her. Check in was easy and convenient. If you are traveling to this area, you should consider renting this home!

Overall this was a great place to stay! Only thing that kept me from 5 stars is there was no central HVAC. We had to use a space heater they had in the bedroom. But we would stay here again when visiting the area.

I had a wonderful two week stay at the Chalet on Black Bay. My host was responsive and helpful. The home was comfortable and well maintained. The home is directly on the water. I could look through the sliders and image I was floating in a boat...that is how close to the water it is. My family and friends who visited all said this cottage was the best one yet that I've rented in the past.This home offers a beautiful sunrise view. I loved that. I'm a early riser. It was also close to the town of Dexter which offered just about any needs...especially the ice cream stand. This one is at the top of my list for next summer!
