Very comfortable and cozy swiss chalet 3 minutes walking distance from Zweisimmen town center. Great view of the Rinderberg.

In winter you can walk in 5 minutes to the Rinderberg skilift from where you have access to the entire ski-region of Zweisimmen, Saanenmoser, St Stephan and Schönried
In summer you can make fantastic hikes through the same region. Chalet is only 5 minutes walk from a very nice public swimming pool.

Parking spot included.
Note that you can only reach the chalet on foot via a set of stairs. (Nb. Not suitable for very old people or people with limited mobility.)

Skiing vacation

We stayed here to visit friends who live in zweisimmen. The house is a 10 min walk to trains or the ski hill. We loved the skiing. My wife who doesn’t ski made day trips by train to nearby towns. We thought the price was fair. The only minor down side is the step access, 100 up or 120 down. We especially loved a fire at night. Zwieimmen is a jewel of a ski town.

Schöner Himmelfahrtsaufenthalt

Erneut sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Familienchalet in Zweisimmen. Alles wunderbar vorgefunden und Kommunikation mit dem Chalet-Inhaber wie gehabt sehr angenehm. Gerne wieder!

fijn huis, maar wel veel trappen.

Het verblijf in Zweisimmen is altijd fijn. Het is een rustig dorp met een actieve skischool. Het huis waar we verbleven heeft een gezellige woonkamer en keuken. Nederlandse tv zenders dus dat is erg fijn. De communicatie met de eigenaar is prettig. Er wordt snel gereageerd. Sleutel overdracht is makkelijk, je kunt zelf de aankomsttijd bepalen. Helaas kun je je auto niet naast het huis parkeren. Je moet met je bagage dus 116 trappen op of ongeveer evenveel trappen af als je hoger parkeert. Dat was even een onaangename verrassing toen we met een volle auto aankwamen. De bedden liggen goed. De dekbedden zijn wel wat kort. De badkamers zijn verouderd met een douche in bad. Al met al een fijne week gehad.

Beau chalet avec magnifique vue

Chalet très bien équipé et confortable. La vue est magnifique. Pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite car on y accède par une centaine de marches. Le propriétaire est très réactif par WhatsApp ou au téléphone. Je recommande vivement.

Chalet mit Charme

Netter Gastgeber. Die Treppenstufen zum Chalet erfordern eine gewisse Grundkondition. Die Haupstrasse unterhalb des Chalets ist abends und nachts ruhig. Die Aussicht auf den Rinderberg ist fantastisch.

Uitstekend verblijf

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huis in Zweisimmen. Dichtbij het centrum en de skilift. Enige wat jammer was dat er weinig sneeuw lag, gelukkig dankzij de sneeuwkanonnen toch enkele pistes open. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs 2 fondue stellen, een gezellige open haard en 2 badkamers. Als je het geen probleem vindt om wat trappen buiten naar het huis te nemen, dan is dit een prima vakantiehuis.

Absolutely lovely traditional chalet with wonderful balcony and view

This is a lovely chalet with a gorgeous view. It is very cosy and traditional inside and had a great balcony with a nice table and a terrific view of the mountains. The owner was wonderful and prompt at communicating with us about a couple of questions we had. Admittedly there are a lot of steps up to the chalet from the street, but the location makes the climb well worth it and, especially without luggage, was not a problem. We recommend it most highly.

Urgemütliches Chalet in besster Lage

Das Chalet ist Urig und absolut top ausgestattet. Es ist dort alles vorhanden um seinen Urlaub zu genießen. Die Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe ist absolut top organisiert. Toller offener Kamin. Super Ausblick von der Terrasse auf den Rinderberg den man in ca. 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht (Talstation). Es empfielt sich ein Depot zu nehmen um die Skier aufzubeawahren. Da das Chalet nur über 100 Stufen zu erreichen ist. Hält fit:-) Zum ausladen am besten oben hinfahren und die Taschen runtertragen. Beim abreisen unten parken und die Taschen dann runtertragen. Supermarkt, Gaststätten usw. sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu ereichen. 3 Schalafzimmer sind vorhanden. 2 x mit Doppelbett, einmal mit Stockbett im oberen Stockwerk, dort befindet sich auch ein Badezimmer und eine separate Toilette. Unten befindet sich ein weiteres Bad mit Toilette und die offene Küche mit Sitzecke, Wohnzimmer, offener Kamin und Terrasse. Alles bestens und sauber. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Hatten eine herrliche Woche und es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Sehr unkomplizierte Schlüsselübeegabe und schöne warme Stube, genug Platz für alle. Leider konnte ich selber nur 2 Tage dort geniessen, weil ich einen Skiunfall hatte und im Spital war....zufälligerweise war ich genau auf dem Stock des Pflegers der unteren Wohnung.

Die Wohnung befindet sich an Hanglage und ist über eine Vielzahl von Treppen zu erreichen - einige Fitness ist somit von Vorteil. Schöne Ferienwohnung, traditionell eingerichtet.

Nice vacation in a great location

The chalet is spacious and comfortable, located in a village with everything you could need including all shops, cable car, interesting railway station, fishing lake and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The location on a steep hill was well communicated from the owner and did not bother us, you just need to take this in mind to carry the luggage at check-in and check-out but there is a parking opportunity below and above the stairs.

Très joli endroit avec un bon accès au montagnes environnantes. Maison très agréable et bien équipée

Il faut être un peu sportif car l'accès au chalet se fait uniquement par des escaliers. Un centaines de marches. Sinon séjour très agréable dans une magnifique région.

Schöne Ferien an super Lage

Super Lage am Dorfrand, zu Fuss in 5 Min. im Dorfzentrum. Man kann jedoch nicht direkt zum Haus fahren. Der Zugang erfolgt über eine Treppe. Für „schlechte“ Läufer nicht zu empfehlen. Das Chalet ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Es gibt viel Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und unkompliziert und die Objektübergabe verlief reibungslos.
