Relax with the whole family at this BRAND NEW lakefront retreat on High Rock. Bring the kids, your pets, and your sense of adventure!

Putting Green with lake view! Game room, TV in all bedrooms, hot tub, propane grill, propane fire pit, fully stocked kitchen (i.e. pots, pans, utensils, spices), beverage fridge

Jet Ski, boat, tubes available to rent subject to approval/strict waiver. Inquire via booking app

Kayaks/life vests available to all guests

Swim/Fish from pier (bring fishing gear)

This is a beautiful property - safe, gated, perfect for a family get away. Nestled at the Uwharrie Mountains, you get the best of mountain scenery at the lake, both at the same time!

There is no joy stealing intended (we are talking common sense), but the partying rule and quiet hours from 10pm-7am are strictly enforced. We ask that you respect the neighbors and keep noise levels down. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and homes are fairly close to one another. Again, Absolutely no parties or events!

PETS:
2 maximum, no aggressive breeds (e.g. all pit breeds, rottweilers), no oversized dogs (e.g. Alaskan malamutes, bull mastiffs, etc.). We have 2 Samoyeds (think husky) for reference. We'll ask for type and size upon booking. Dogs will have access to yard (not fenced) and all areas but cannot run free in the neighborhood (leash rule applies).

2 dog crates, if needed, are set up in the heated/conditioned garage/game room. We also provide dog bowls, poop bags and receptacle in the back yard.

*We charge a $25 per pet per night fee to cover incidentals and extra cleaning.

EXTERIOR:
Spacious indoor/outdoor areas with plenty of seating and entertaining space, hot tub.

Putters and golf balls onsite to take advantage of putting green

*Private pier with dock, rent watercraft or bring your own, inquire via app with questions about what we have, rates, waivers/rules, etc.

*Walking to the dock involves moderate terrain (see pics of path and steps to get to dock). Young children and older adults (or anyone with limited mobility) may need assistance subject to guest discretion.

INTERIOR:
2700 SFT
Primary bedroom suite, powder room, dining, living room, kitchen, on main level. 4 beds, 2 full baths upstairs.

3 bedrooms have king beds, 1 bedroom has a queen bed. 1 bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds: 1 set of 2 twin beds, 1 set of 1 twin and 1 full bed.

Board games, over-sized chess set onsite

All TVs set up via ROKU where you can sign in to your own subscribed/favorite streaming accounts

GAME ROOM:
Game room is set up in what would be the garage. Has its own heating and air unit. Includes ping pong, shuffle board table, foosball table, pac man arcade console, nerf basketball goal

LOCAL AREA:
Forget to pack something or want to bring groceries? Convenience & Grocery Stores nearby: Dollar General 14 mins, Lowes Foods 13 mins & Walmart Supercenter/Food Lion 25 mins.

The rural location is also great for those seeking refuge from the hustle & bustle of the city with desires for city-like amenities within a short driving distance with so much to do!

Property has 1 exterior camera above exterior garage door, facing driveway and parking areas only. Our intent is only to see if/when someone arrives in a vehicle.
One noise decibel meter is installed on 1st floor (kitchen/LR wall) and 1 outside at covered patio. Note, these are the brand Minut devices and only record noise decibel level, but do not record in any manner nor identify the source of noise.

CRITTERS/INSECTS:
We love our home and work hard to keep it clean and comfortable for every guest. However, please note that due to our RURAL location and proximity to water (and like many homes in the area), visits from wild life, bugs, insects—such as ants, spiders, or May Flies—can happen, especially during warmer months. There will be no refunds or discounts given for this reason.

We have regular pest control services and do our best to prevent unwanted guests, but we kindly ask for your understanding if you see a bug or two during your stay. It’s part of the natural surroundings here. PLEASE KEEP DOORS AND WINDOWS CLOSED as much as you can!

If you experience anything out of the ordinary or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we want to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and worry-free as possible!

Vehicle makes and models must be given to security 72 hours prior to arrival and will be requested.

Driveway is a little steep with a sharp turn but no cars have had issues accessing to date.

Property and dock are accessible by water from Pebble Beach public access (and other public access areas). Note, larger parts of the lake may be inaccessible on pontoon boats from this location due the need to cross under railroad trellis bridge shown in pics...it all depends on time of year and water levels. This does not impact ability to ski, tube, have fun on the water, just means you may not be able to access ALL parts of the lake.

An absolutely amazing place to celebrate an early holiday long weekend with our adult children and grand dog. Could not have been happier with our accommodations. Our host was very helpful during the booking, kept in contact during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy, lots to do outside and inside. Perfect!
