Lakeview-lejligheden har det hele. Fantastisk udsigt over Lake Tahoe mod vest og østlig udsigt over Carson Valley og Nevada-ørkenen. Du er kun 4 miles fra South Lake Tahoe kasinoer, men en verden væk fra de flade og kedelige partier på Californiens side. Du kan stå på ski ud og ned til Boulder-liften og lodge ved Heavenly fra hoveddøren. Eller Stagecoach-ekspress-skiliften ligger 300 meter væk. Om sommeren træder du ud af hoveddøren, og du er på den verdensberømte Tahoe Rim Trail. Ingen grund til at køre hvor som helst. Poolen og boblebadet ligger 100 meter fra lejligheden, og du kan se det fra vinduet. Den berømte Fox and Hound bar og grill ligger 500 meter væk samt skiudlejningsbutikken.

A wonderful place to stay

This was a perfect place for me I rented for a total of 30 days I was not there the full 30 days I would come in and out as the snow would arrive two bedrooms with the loft upstairs the bathroom I mainly stayed downstairs and was comfortable great location right on ski bus route easy and easy out

Great place to stay in Tahoe

This was a great place to stay with everything we needed to relax and be comfortable. Appreciated John sending extra fans when we noted it was a bit warm.

Great location

We had a great stay at this condo. The location is ideal no matter what time of the year you stay there. There is a great view of the lake and there is everything that you need within a couple miles. It's great.

Great Base for visit to Tahoe

Had a great stay in Stateline. Close to everything, hiking trails in the neighborhood and restaurants of every ilk with a short drive. Loved the fireplace and kitchen. Would rent again in the future.

Great location, great hosts!

Recently took a trip with friends to Tahoe for the first time. Location was great, just a few minute drive to the lifts. Comfortable beds, kitchen was well-stocked. Hosts were great at communicating us and even giving us recommendations of places to eat. Would highly recommend this property!

Very cozy with great views

We had an amazing experience staying at the property and the views were even better than expected! The kitchen utensils could be a little updated but there was absolutely nothing that we lacked when cooking. We couldn’t be happier spending our Tahoe vacation in a home like John and Kristen’s :)

Great family getaway

We had a great family getaway here - nice location for hiking (& skiing I'm sure!), easy access to restaurants and the lake! We had a family of 5 and small dog and the property was a great size for both being together and having some quiet time. Well stocked too. Quick & easy communication with owner. Thanks John!

Amazing

Great property in an amazing location. Wake up, put your gear on, catch the shuttle and 2 minutes later you’re skiing/snowboarding. John goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of and have a great time while you’re there. Would absolutely book and stay here again

Perfect ski weekend

John was such a great host. He clearly answered all my questions and helped us have a wonderful stay in his beautiful home. The views from the balcony were very gorgeous, the location was right next to a shuttle stop going to heavenly, and the place felt homely. The kitchen had plenty of kitchenware to make homemade meals for me and my skiing crew that made this great trip one we'll be trying to book again!

Great location, beautiful views, spacious condo. My only concern would be the stairs for someone who is older or has health issues. Also it would have been nice to know that there was no dishwasher in the apartment.

Great location! Amazing views!

We had a great week in Tahoe. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The fireplace was relaxing at the end of the day especially with a glass of wine. The views of the Lake and mountains from the condo were beautiful, especially with all the snow. The skiing was amazing! It snowed almost everyday. The condo was close to both Stagecoach and Boulder Lifts. We drove to both, but the shuttle stop is right outside the condo. Very convenient to town, just down the mountain. Great restaurants and shopping!

Perfect

All of the 5 star reviews are correct. The condo is just as pictured and described if not better. It has everything you could wish for and was extremely clean. It was perfect for skiing with two lifts being either a very short drive away or a shuttle bus. The view of the lake was beautiful. John was very informative and responded very quickly to any questions. I would recommend this condo to anyone. We now want to come back in the Summer to get a different experience.

Perfect family getaway location!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay and John and Kristin's home. Extremely attentive to our questions and willing to help us with anything we needed. The condo has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. The kitchen has all the supplies you need and if you forget anything, you can make a quick drive or walk down the street to the corner store. Plenty of parking as well as an overflow lot across the street. The weather was perfect during our stay with a view of the stunning sunsets over the lake. While some guests mentioned the stairs, they didn't seem bad at all.(and we had children) It seemed that most units in the area had some form of stairs, many with more. Overall, we would love to return to John and Kristin's home in the future. They are kind, attentive, and very reasonable. - Melanie

Great views. Cozy condo. Very responsive owner.

The kitchen, dinning room and living room areas are set up and decorated with lots of wood, stone and a nice fireplace which makes the condo look like a nice and cozy mountain house. The views of the lake and trees are very nice. My kids loved the extra wide bunk beds and everyone enjoyed relaxing in the very comfortable living room armchairs. There was a huge TV and we would have enjoyed a nice movie but we were out most of the day and enjoyed long and relaxing dinners in the condo in the evening. John is super responsive, just as we saw in other reviews of the condo. There was a small issue upon arrival which he addressed to our full satisfaction in a fair manner. I would definitively stay there again. He also has a very nice and helpful neighbor with whom we chatted briefly upon arrival. The place was very easy to find. I highly recommend staying at John and Kirsten’s place.

Excellent location! Stunning views

You can't beat the location of this property. Extremely close to both the Boulder and Stagecoach lodges. We typically took the bus from the house to Stagecoach(1 min trip) then on the last run of the day we would go down the hill to the Bolder lift/lodge to pick up the bus and it would drop us off right at our house! It would definitely be ski out if there was ample snow on the ground but this was just as easy. Stunning views throughout the house and a very relaxing atmosphere. Your backyard is literally the Sierra Mountains. We took our 2 year old out on a hike every day...definitely close enough if you also had a dog. We ate at the Fox and Hound directly down the street, ~1/4 mile. Great food with a fun atmosphere to watch the Olympics. We also rented our skis from a store in that same parking lot. ~$20 for an entire day! We spent one of our nights at the bottom of the hill touring the Heavenly village and night life. Simple drive, about 10 minutes. Great attractions, movies, ice skating, ton of restaurants, and a very family friendly atmosphere. John and Kristin just added a new full over full bunk bed with an additional trundle bed. Great addition! While we didn't use all of the beds in the house, we tried out the new mattresses and they were memory foam (super comfy). Overall John and Kristin were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. We had a great time and would come back again.

Quick getaway!

We loved John & Kristin’s condo! Met up with another family and we all agreed it was a perfect place. Great location, plenty of room for our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ages 7-9), beautiful views and easy check-in and out. Would love to stay here again!

Great condo for ski vacation at Heavenly

I stayed at the condo with my wife and 3 teenagers in March of 2021. There are 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor that the kids used, and a nice sized loft with a full bath that the wife and I used. The views from the condo are amazing, the kitchen is well stocked, and the living and dining areas were roomy and comfortable. The kids and I were able to ski down to the Boulder lift by walking down the walkway behind our building, climbing over a pile of snow, and then skiing down through the trees to the lift. My wife preferred the shuttle to the Stagecoach lift which picked her up from the parking lot. We cooked several meals in the kitchen but also ate at the Chart House (fantastic sea food) and the Fox and Hound (very good BBQ and burgers).

Great spot!

This property had everything we needed for our week of skiing. Shuttle to Stagecoach lift pulled up right outside. We never found the “ski out” way to the Boulder lift, which is the only reason I took off a star for accuracy of listing. Nice views of Lake Tahoe through the trees. Unit was clean and spacious, and host John was responsive to every inquiry, plus gave us an important winter weather and driving warning. We'd definitely book here again.

Both my wife and I have been all across the country living our lives where our careers take us. We eventually came across Lake Tahoe, NV. One of the most scenic and beautiful places this country has to offer. We immediately fell in love with the location and needed to find a way to live there. Our hope is to share this experience with you.
