About this property

Cabin 200 yards from Current River Access 13 miles north of Doniphan

Beautiful cabin located 13 miles North of Doniphan and 200 yards from river access. We will meet you in town on day of check in to assist and guide you to the property as well as provide you a tour and answer any last minute questions. You must sign and return a rental agreement along with a photo ID before checking in.

This cabin has 3 private bedrooms, 2 full baths, and fireplace-all with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and Current River.

Please read our listing carefully for rules, restrictions as well as what amenities we have at the cabin.

We do offer WIFI and have Roku set up for using, also we do have DVD with a small selections of movies.

NO PETS ALLOWED!!! We STRONGLY suggest all renters have a truck or SUV as the last mile of gravel road into the cabin is rough.

River access from our gravel bar (200 yards from property) requires that you use your own four wheel drive to launch your boat. Additionally, there is a public access ramp 9 miles south from the cabin ( Deer Leap).
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any violation of rules during stay will result in eviction without refund. Any violated discovered after stay will result in loss of deposit.
Guests are responsible for picking up their trash and debris. Guests will be responsible for any additional fees (processing fees, postage, misc).
Check in will be no later then 6 pm. Also owners will not be responsible for extra fees. ( lost or stolen credit cards, postage and check fees.)

Current River trip

Super location along the Current River with plenty of waterfront area. The home had lots of room and all the necessities and more. We never left the property or the river, so no comments on the surrounding area of Doniphan and beyond.

Great little hide away on Current river

If you are looking for a place to get away from life, look no more. Bruce and Sheri's place was amazing. Spacious home, great river access, anything you could ever need, and little connection to the outside world with hardly any cell reception, which was a nice break for me! Overall a great stay, will be back soon.

This cabin was perfect for us. We have a large family and had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space-the kids loved the huge loft area. Reunion getaway

Beautiful property, exactly as advertised. VERY fully equipped. About 20 minutes from Doniphan. The gravel road in to the property is well maintained, but some vehicle ground clearance is required. Stairs could be an issue if you must use the upper level. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an Ozark getaway.

Relaxing weekend at the river

Great weekend getaway staying on the Current River with no phone service or Wi-Fi. The 3 bedroom, spacious country cabin has a fully stocked kitchen. The large deck overlooking the river was shaded and comfortable for our group to play cards and listen to music. We drove our truck to the rocky river bank for 2 full days of fun in the sun. Bruce and Sheri are wonderful hosts who personally welcomed us. Bring all that you need to the cabin for your stay because the trip to town isnā€™t worth missing time at this beautiful location.

We completed our cabin in 2011. We are very proud of our place and enjoy spending time there ourselves. A lot of blood, sweat and tears was put into the cabin as we completed most of the inside ourselves.

Why they chose this property

It's very peaceful, we have river front access 200 yards from our cabin and you can easily relax on the large front deck with a river view. You will only need to bring your own clothing, personal necessities, food and drink.
