Idyllic location - detached villa with private pool and stunning views.

This lovely modern villa is one of only eight in an exclusive development; it is set in a peaceful location with spectacular unending views overlooking the Psalidi mountains and olive groves. It is only a short drive to several of the wonderful beaches on the East side of the island.

The property consists of an open plan ground floor lounge area with a large comfortable sofa to relax on a dining table and chairs, a flat screen satelite TV, DVD player, Ipod docking station and free WiFi. The newly built (2025) kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern appliances which includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker with oven and grill, a coffee machine and a microwave.

The ground floor also has an open fireplace and a downstairs toilet/shower room. A marble staircase leads to the first floor, which includes a family sized bathroom with bath and shower. The master bedroom contains a double bed, fitted wardrobes with a safe inside one of them. There is also a large balcony with a table and chairs to enable you to relax and enjoy the stunning views - a perfect spot in the evenings to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down. The second bedroom has twin beds and a balcony also with table and chairs, here you can enjoy your coffee in the mornings and watch the sunrise.

Each bedroom has fully fitted wardrobes. The villa has air conditioning units in each main room (this is charged extra).

The newly refurbished garden features a private swimming pool with four comfortable sun loungers, sun umbrellas and a traditional stone BBQ area with a large granite dining table and chairs. The garden also features outside lighting, which gives allows you to enjoy an evening barbeque in style. We have made it even more private with an additional entrance gate and wall. Here you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the countryside into the olive groves and Psalidi mountains.

Our villa is constantly and lovingly updated to ensure that our guests have the most comfortable experience.

Safety: Although children are welcome to use the pool, as with all pools supervision is required at all times.

We accept no liability during your stay at the villa. Guests must provide their own holiday and travel insurance. Towels are provided for use in the villa only. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.

Location: The villa is located 2 km outside the traditional and friendly town of Kalythies. Full directions are provided upon confirmation of rental. The local beaches are only a few minutes drive away.

We had such a lovely holiday in Steve and Julia's villa. It's a beautiful property with a lovely pool. Everything we needed was there (including friendly cats) and Steve and Julia were great hosts - very communicative when we contacted them and very helpful. The location of the villa is semi-rural and so a car is required but we did not find a problem renting a car very reasonably (via Rhorent). I can highly recommend this lovely property.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed at. I loved all the little touches and the space. The kitchen was phenomenal too! The hosts were amazing at all times. Especially when we could hear a little cat stuck in the shed and they ensured the cat was set free for us. This little cat went on to be the star of our holiday and we miss her very much now. The pool was brilliant and the garden is just a vision of perfection, especially at night! My son absolutely loved seeing the tanks out training in the land beside the villa and the goat skull in the garden. My daughter adored the daily visits from the goats and the cats (particularly Maisie the little tabby!) and my husband and I loved all the games in the dresser that we would play after dinner each night! The villa was hard to find initially but after a bit of practice we got there and it was perfectly located for all attractions. Our best holiday so far and largely due to the amazing accommodation and hosts. Thank you again. Apologies for not writing in your guest book. I didn’t see it till we were leaving and I’d already packed the pen Gemma, James, Reid and Beth.

Excellent comms from the start. The villa is very clean, beautifully presented and in an ideal location for peace and quiet yet a short ride to the many beaches or restaurants. Perfect location for exploring the whole of the island. The pool is very clean and a good size. The pool furniture is plentiful and good quality. We met the pool cleaner and the house keeper who were both very polite and so happy to share experiences and locations on the island. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks and would very highly recommend this villa to anyone.

We had a great holiday and the Villa was everything we had expected. The hosts we very helpful even when we couldn't find the property Steve guided us in. They were very understanding of a few misshaps on our part and we sorted them out before we left.The Villa is in a great location but you will need a car to get about which we did everyday.The pool is so nice to have to yourself however the company used we feel did not really have the attention to detail and would come and spend 5 mins and leave, at the end the pool was quite unclean and murky (not the hosts fault but I feel there being a bit cheeky with the service they provide).We would return but the only thing stopping us is another Villa around the property that rescues dogs and the barking some days was a bit much. However we had a lovely holiday.

Die Unterkunft war sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe im Detail eingerichtet. Sehr reichlich ausgestattet war das Inventar. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Unterkunft liegt weit oben, aber das haben wir uns so ausgesucht. Dafür Ruhe pur. Da der Vermieter Steve nicht vor Ort wohnt, lief alles reibungslos. Er hat vorab schon mal einige Tipps mitgeteilt, was wir sehr nett fanden.Bei Problemen konnte man ihn per SMS erreichen und er hat zeitnah geantwortet. Diese Unterkunft können wir nur weiter empfehlen.

Home from home

Everything you could need and more in the villa.Right from booking Steve & Julia were so informative, sending details of local restaurants,Places to walk, beaches etc . We had a slight issue with the washing machine and it was sorted immediately by their manager Elaine (such a lovely lady). The pool was beautiful with a lovely view of the hills and olive trees. The villa is located in a quiet area , however a 5 min drive you have a village.Thanks to you both for sharing your beautiful villa.

Entspannung pur

Die Villa ist genauso wie auf den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Das Haus ist einfach jedoch ist alles da was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Der Pool ist wunderbar und wir genossen ihn jeden Tag. Der Poolmann kommt immer Dienstag und Samstag um ihn zu reinigen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich mit wenig Nachbarn. Schräg gegenüber ist ein kleiner Shelter die Hunde und Katzen beherbergt. Die Katzen sind sehr präsent unsere Kinder liebten sie. Man hört die Hunde hin und wieder bellen uns hat es jedoch nicht gestört. Hin und wieder kommen Ziegen und Hirsche vorbei. Wir konnten uns gut entspannen und Entschleunigen. Wer gerne Delphine sehen will der bucht ein Trip bei Blutopia auf der Westseite der Insel. Ansonsten hat Rhodos viele schöne Strände ob Sand oder Kirs für jeden was dabei. Wir konnten Steve jederzeit für etwaige Fragen kontaktieren. Vielen Dank für die tolle Villa. Tranquil oasis

Our first time in Rhodes and this place is a treasure! We planned on doing so much but found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the Villa. It feels very secluded but the village of kalithies is a five minute drive away and has everything you need, chemists, bars, butchers,bakery and a couple of small supermarkets. Anthony Quinn bay, faliraki, and Rhodes town are all within a 15 to 20 minutes drive whilst lindos takes about 40 mins. Eating out is great ,Vasilikon grill house in kalithies is superb good food big portions great price. Also desert rose and manolis taverna in faliraki are excellent for an evening meal. But if you just want a BBQ there's a lovely butchers in Kalithies. The Villa itself is beautiful, very tastefully decorated which makes you feel really at home and the surrounding views are stunning. Steve and Julia are fantastic hosts , very accommodating, providing excellent advice and communications (even though there was a problem at my end, they still persevered )We really don't want to leave. Thanks both.

Es war der schönste Urlaub seit langer Zeit! Eine wunderbare Villa, die perfekt mit Allem eingerichtet ist, in einer sehr schönen Landschaft mit einem herrlichen Pool. Die Lage ist Ideal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten. der Insel zu erkunden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist noch die liebevolle und hervorragende Hilfsbereitschaft und Betreuung der Vermieter Julia und Steve mit vielen ausgezeichneten Informationen und Ratschlägen. Ferienhaus in mediterraner Landschaft

Ich war bereits einmal vor 1 1/2 Jahren in dem Haus und kann meine positive Beurteilung nur wiederholen. Zustand, Einrichtung, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind top, die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön. Das Einchecken ist mit dem Leitfaden, den man einige vor der Reise erhält, völlig unproblematisch.

Idyllic country setting

The villa is set 10mins from the centre of Faliraki so close enough to enjoy the facilities but also far enough to have peace and quiet. The villa was well equipped and has been well maintained. The advantage of having a private pool cannot be underestimated. Steve the owner was very helpful answering questions and Elaine the cleaning lady also a good source of information. It is advised it best to hire a car to explore the island we thought the best local beach was Tsampika as less crowded and had great facilities. If you have kids the Farms petting zoo is worth a visit. Overall the accomodation was of a high quality and I would recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful

What a stunning place, from the moment we arrived we were so impressed and happy with the choice to stay here. Perfect for our family, kids loved the pool and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Close enough to local shops etc but ideally set in the mountains. Stunning beaches nearby, i would highly recommend Stegna, so good we went twice and the cocktail bar there was a great find. We had a fantastic stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Steve our host was amazingly helpful and always stayed in touch. Overall a perfect holiday, i would highly recommend!

Happy to recommend this villa

We had a fabulous holiday at the villa. Everything was just as described and we had a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The villa is located a short distance from Rhodes town but far enough away for it to be really peaceful. You do need to have transport (we hired a car) as you need to travel to get to shops etc. It was great having the pool to cool down in after we had been out for the day. The pool is cleaned regularly and the villa was spotless when we arrived. Communication with our host was great and he was really relaxed around arrival and departure times. A lovely experience all round.

Beautiful setting

This little villa is in a lovely location, looking out on the olive grove. We saw goats everyday and watched the sunset from the balcony and really enjoyed the pool. The location is great for driving to Rhodes Town, Lindos and local the shops near by. Rhodes is such a lovely island, many beautiful beaches and ancient sites to visit. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. As we arrived late at night it was lovely to have some basic food and supplies so we could have a snack and coffee in the morning. I would definitely recommend this villa, plenty of space for four. (The friendly local cats were a bonus!)

Traumurlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in einem tollen Haus. Ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen was diesen Urlaub so einzigartig gemacht hat. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage zwischen sanften Hügeln, Bergen und Olivenbäumen traumhaft. Einrichtung und Ausstattung top. Der Pool und der Garten sind liebevoll angelegt. Kleine Gimmicks inbegriffen. Die Insel selbst ist auch traumhaft und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter lief auch reibungslos und man hat sich in allen Belangen gut um uns gekümmert. Auf diesem weg auch nochmal einen lieben Gruß an Steve und Julia.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, super Urlaub

Das Haus ist super schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und sehr zuverlässig. Es wurden uns aufgrund der kühlen Nächte sogar wärmere Decken angeboten und von der Reinigungskraft gebracht. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön ausgestattet, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, Stühle, Liegen, Grill. Ein paar Katzen sind immer da, aber wenn man sie nicht füttert, hält sich die Zahl in Grenzen. Unsere Kids haben sich immer über sie gefreut. Der Pool war auch sehr schön und supersauber. Abends erleuchteten viele Solarlichter den Garten, was es urgemütlich machte. Alles in allem ein super erholsamer und schöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank. Fam. Richter

Haus auf dem Land am Rande eines Olivenhains

Das Haus liegt ruhig als hinterstes einer kleinen Hausgruppe an der wenig befahrenen Landstraße von Kalithies nach Psinthos (etwas weiter nach Psinthos zu als auf der Karte bei Fewo direkt eingezeichnet). Die Anfahrt ist mit Steves guter Beschreibung und Hinweisen zum check-in völlig unproblematisch. Der Blick geht vom Garten zu einem direkt anschließenden Olivenhain und ins idyllische Hügelland der Umgebung. Neben dem Swimmingpool befindet sich der hübsch gestaltete Sitzbereich, wo man auch tagsüber Schatten findet. Das Haus selbst ist modern, gut gestaltet und eingerichtet. Alles was man für den Urlaub benötigt, ist vorhanden. Zudem war alles äußerst sauber. Als nettes Willkommensgeschenk haben wir beim Eintreffen einen Korb mit Lebensmitteln und einer Flasche Wein vorgefunden. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Lovely Villa

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Villa. Location for us was perfect with great views of the surrounding mountains. Schönes Haus mit lauter Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, der Garten und Pool abends romantisch beleuchtet, aber leider war es uns zu laut. Eine leicht entfernte Nachbarin hat wohl einen Shelter wo mehrere Hunde untergebracht sind, die Tag und Nacht bellen. Nebenan ist ein Feld auf dem, als wir da waren, Panzer durchgefahren sind. Der Hund der Nachbarin vorne bellt auch regelmäßig. Katzen sollte man unbedingt mögen, denn die gibt es reichlich und sie halten sich gerne bei den Menschen auf. Alles in allem hat uns das Haus und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sehr gefallen, aber der Rest leider überhaupt nicht.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Die Ausstattung ist super. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche lässt zu wünschen übrig aber das kennen wir schon aus anderen Urlauben. Der Pool ist klasse aber er war mir noch zu kalt (ich bin eine Frostbeule). Die Lage ist wirklich dörflich aber mit dem Auto kann man vieles schnell erreichen (z.B. 10 Minuten zum Strand, 8 Minuten zu einem etwas größeren Supermarkt). Insgesamt ein tolles Haus zu einem fairen Preis!

Fabulous holiday.

The villa was perfect for our family. Lovely and clean with all the amenities needed, including air-conditioning downstairs and in both bedrooms. The pool and surrounding area were absolutely fantastic, the kids enjoying endless hours of fun in there throughout the day. The pool man came to clean the pool 4 times in our 11 day stay! The local area was very nice, and the people in the nearest town Kallithies were extremely friendly. We particularly enjoyed a couple of meals in Meze Meze Taverna, and the kebabs from Alonia takeaway were excellent and really cheap! The local butcher's are brilliant, so friendly and lovely local produce for BBQs, they even sent out for ice-creams for the kids while we were purchasing some meat! Other little towns and beaches are within a short 10 minute drive. Sergio's Italian in Afandou is excellent if you fancy a change from the lovely Greek food. Falaraki is only a 10-15 minute drive away as well if you want anything lively! Steve is extremely helpful and quick to respond if you have any questions. We would highly recommend staying and will definitely think about coming again.

Steve worked on the island for many years and knows the island and the Islanders very well. Julia got to know the island through Steve and fell in love with the friendliness of the people and beauty of the island. Steve and Julia decided to buy the villa when the opportunity arose and have never looked back!

The location is close enough to the friendly village of Kalythies, but far enough away to enjoy your own privacy and the spectacular beauty of the surrounding area. There is a lovely walk from the villa through the olive groves up to the Psalidi view hills. Once up there you have a wonderful view of the sea and the village of Afandou. Goats, sheep and deer are often seen from the villa. The chance of starting with a blank canvas - a new build - and the excitement of seeing what we could make of it and how the villa might develop.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The villa is close to everything: the sea, beaches the countryside, the hills, the towns and villages are all in close proximity to the house. In spring and autumn you can take amazing walks directly from the house through the olive groves into the hills and take in some of the wonderful scenery overlooking some of the towns, the sea and also try to locate some of the 27 varieties of flowers only to be found on the island. Four varieties of orchids have already been seen by one of our guests! Or at any time of year you can just stay at the villa and swim in our private pool or read and relax and enjoy the tranquility of the villa and the surrounding area, the amazing views of the surrounding countryside - the olive trees and the hills - whilst swimming in the pool. With a car you can enjoy this most beautiful Island, sun bathing on the beaches, swimming in the sea, visit Rhodes town, Lindos which are all no more than 30 minutes drive away or visit some of the more remote villages on the island which are uniquely Greek. We take great pride in the villa, so our guests can feel at home there. We constantly upgrade it to ensure that it remains modern and comfortable. We have recently changed our kitchen and the result is very pleasing.
