Important Seasonal & Logistics Notes
• Douglas Lake Levels: Please note that the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) draws down lake levels from mid-September to late April. During this "off-season," the dock is not usable and water access is extremely limited. However, the indoor pool and sauna make this a premier destination even in winter!
• Parking: We provide off-site storage for one trailer at a nearby facility (no trailer parking allowed on-site). The nearest boat launch is 8 miles away in Dandridge.
• Community Growth: This is a developing resort; you may notice construction on neighboring cabins during your stay.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home! We live less then 2 hours away but just wanted a break from routine and what a beatiful place to do just that. From the coffee bar to the crockpot!!! We loved it all.

We loved everything about On The Rocks!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at On The Rocks! The house was big enough for our large family and provided something to do for everyone. The kids loved the Nugget couch, books and activities in the loft. They especially loved the hot tub, pool, all the floats, toys and goggles. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, and lily pad out on the lake. All of the views were amazing! We can’t say enough great things about On The Rocks and we hope to go back!

We are fairly recent empty nesters from Northwest Ohio. As our two children were growing up, we vacationed at Douglas Lake several times making some of our best family memories. My favorite photo of our children is one of them jumping off the deck, hand-in-hand, at sunset. (If you have kids, make them do it!) When we saw this location, we knew this would be a place for our family to gather for years to come. We've named the cabin "On The Rocks"- a nod to its unique foundation nestled on a rock, and a playful wink to Dave's fondness of bourbon... We hope that "On The Rocks" will be as special to you as it is to us.
