3 bdrm, 3 bath -1/3 acre lot, detatched casita - walled, gated, and private
A very unique and special property - this estate is one of a handful of original Spanish Haciendas built in La Quinta during the 1930's.
Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a gated bricked courtyard, and charming plastered villa. Soothing sounds of rustling palm fronds and leaves emanate from towering, majestic palms and bountiful citrus trees, which lushly shade and perfume the grounds, providing immediate respite against the hot desert sun. The estate is walled and gated, making it a safe play haven for pets and children.
The residence boasts a colorful legacy of guests and private events and even served as the host location for the La Quinta Arts Foundation Home Tour. Beautifully maintained and cared for - this property exudes charm and artisan flavor throughout.
The property features a main house and a separate private casita. Within the main house, are two bedrooms with private baths. One bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed and two twin beds, allowing sleeping accommodations for 4, the other bedroom has a queen sized bed for two. The main house also has well appointed kitchen with breakfast bar and dining alcove, not to mention a full sized dining room should one desire a more formal eating arrangement.
The casita has a private bedroom with a queen bed, and a main living area with a queen pull out sofa. The casita has it's own full bath and kitchen. The property allows multi-generational families or couples enjoying a vacation together, to have the rare luxury of preparing meals communally, or cooking privately, keeping harmony with individual preferences and schedules.
Visitors will be equally as pleased with the beautiful salt water pool, complete with Jacuzzi and swim up beach. The surrounding patio provides for many sunbathing options, and also gives those who prefer some shade, the ability to laze the day away in a comfortable hammock, hung amidst the mature orange trees that border the pool area. A grill master's dream awaits in a large outdoor palapa by the pool. The full outdoor kitchen boasts a gas grill, sink, bar counter with seating for six, as well as a huge covered dining area that will easily accommodate 20. Next to the stage is a large gas fire pit, made for roasting marshmallows under the starlight, or for delighting guests with warm ambient firelight while keeping any chill at bay. The lush lawn and tropical flower beds throughout the property lend a tropical oasis feeling in contrast to the surrounding bright, sunny desert.

This place had a ton of character and made my trip with the family memorable. House and pool were clean and user friendly. Todd the owner was very attentive to any needs but also gave us all the space we needed. He was available if any issues needed handling. We had our dog with us and she loved the place as well. None of the family wanted to leave. Thx Todd!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!
We have been going to Palm Springs area for several years now but nothing compares to our stay at La Quinta Cove. It is a magical accommodation that has it all. We often had 8 - 10 people with us (babies included) and everyone had the greatest time. The grounds are beautiful, the pool and spa - amazing - the Casita is so wonderful - I just can't say enough. It is a short walk everything you need and we really enjoyed not having to drive everywhere. Todd is so accommodating and always available for questions or assistance. As I failed to convince him to sell me the house, we did end up buying very close by as I can't imagine a better place to visit or live. I have no hesitation in recommending La Quinta Cove - don't miss this one!
Paradise in La Quinta
What a beautiful property! We were fortunate to spend New Year’s Eve weekend here and had the most amazing time relaxing at the pool/spa and cooking delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen. The home and Casita are fabulously decorated - almost like being in a museum - so many wonderful pieces of art/items to admire. This really is a special place and we hope to be back soon!
This property was very nice and a great place to gather a group together.
The property was beautiful and Todd was extremely responsive. It was a wonderful stay.
Perfect family getaway!
What a great place to celebrate a special family celebration! The house is beautiful, spacious, everything you need is there from kitchen appliances and utensils to pool toys and a high chair!
It is also perfect for that girls or guys getaway! The location is near Old Town and hiking trails.
We will definitely be back!
Beautiful Spacious home
If you're looking for a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable home to spend a relaxing weekend this little hacienda is it! The decor and details give just the right touch to feel miles away.
I came for a few days with 5 couples as a birthday couple getaway for a friend. We loved the set up of the house, spacious yard, and an awesome catina set up outside near the pool. The small villa is also spacious. Many features like sound system in the house, AC, spa tempure, etc was controlled through an iPad. The appliances, dishes and cookware were in good condition and worked well. Everyone was comfortable with their bed and pleased with our stay. The owner was fast in responding to questions and concerns. He contacted me to make sure everything was set and to go over check in procedures a few days before. He was even nice enough to work out a way for us to order the boxing fight that was on that weekend.
The only negative part was a neighbor that the owner warned us about from the beginning. If you're looking to party and stay up late then this is not the house for you. We were hanging out in the pool listening to music (not very loud at all) around 3 in the afternoon and the neighbor peeked over to ask to turn the music down. We didn't even have a big speaker and it was in the middle of the afternoon! To avoid problems we lowered it slightly and she never said anything else. We did feel like we had to go inside early (quiet hours begin at 10pm) to avoid the neighbor complaining. This wasn't too big of a deal for us since we were looking for a relaxing weekend but not recommended for people wanting to party.
Needless to say, my friends and I would love to stay here again for a relaxing couple of days. I recommend this lovely home for anyone that needs a relaxing getaway.
