While the house and the Host were amazing, the neighborhood surrounding is very unsafe! Actually the highest crime rate in Richmond! After night 1 we moved and was refunded because there happened to be a shoot out behind the house! Up coming area for sure but it definitely needs a few years to improve surrounding areas!

It was a cute lil house and it suited our needs although all our guest didn't stay there. The grass was thick and high but the lawn care guy showed up as we pulled in. The place was pretty clean a lil missed dust spots but that happens. There was a bad storm last night and we lost power some time in the middle of the night it got pretty hot and unbearable to sleep well. The power company worked on it for quite sometime we had to pack in the dark in hopes we didn't leave anything behind. The one problem was there was glad all through the backyard I picked up a lot of it so I wouldn't get glass in my new truck tires. There was no propane for the grill or the fireplace. But all in all a great lil spot. One other thing to mention the area was a lil shady although we had no problem anyone we encountered was nice and polite but if I was a woman traveling alone I probably wouldn't have stayed there. But I felt safe with my son as we have lived in those areas in Charlotte NC. My dog did feel safe a brought along my lil girl to keep an eyes on her while we were at Kings Dominion. The lawn care guy was very nice and got the grief cut but we left for a lil bit to let them get done so I would get grass on my. Thank you for renting your house out to us for the weekend we enjoyed it all but the power outage maybe get a few battery operated fans for occasions like that I had one but it died in the night too
