Close to downtown, the Capital Trail, state government and Richmond International Airport/ this second floor space is in a meticulously restored historic home built in 1871.

This apartment is part of farm-house style home loaded with Italianate features of the late 19th century. Meticulously restored and updated for comfortable and efficient 21st century living, this cozy retreat offers a quiet, private and upscale experience in the heart of one of the hippest neighborhoods in the city. You'll notice the difference! There are no shared spaces-it's all yours!

Very nice place to stay. It was clean and nicely decorated. This is a great neighborhood with a wonderful park that has beautiful views (Libby Hill Park), wonderful cafe (Hill cafe), good coffee (Riverbend) and delicious Detroit pizza (Secret Square) etc. I would recommend this VRBO as a very nice place to stay for one or two people.

The Haven was amazing! So cute, clean, and in a great location! Quick walk to the bus, or under 10 to Lyft to nearby museums/restaurants. We had a fantastic time visiting the Civil War Museum and attending Folk Fest.

House was immaculate. The location is prime. With a bakery next door and a park just blocks away you can't beat this location. We were 2 miles away from the riverfront venue we were in town for. The neighborhood is safe and quaint.

We came to town for a concert and this home turned out to be the perfect choice. The space was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and very comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable with great restaurants very close. Parking was simple, and safe the bed provided a wonderful night’s rest. Thank you, David, for sharing your beautiful space—we truly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay in Richmond! The location was perfect, with a wonderful restaurant just around the corner and lots of great suggestions from our host that made exploring even better. The apartment itself was spotless and so stylish—it really felt like a special getaway. We only wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy more time in the space, especially the beautiful kitchen, outdoor patio, and the short walk to the park. We’re already hoping to book again for future day or overnight trips to Richmond!

Gorgeously decorated historical home with endless attention to detail and oh, so squeaky clean!!Within moments of our arrival I proclaimed I COULD LIVE HERE!!Location was perfect for our visit with daughters. I can’t write this without mentioning the millwork, crown molding and trim….BEAUTIFUL!!

Beautiful, Clean, Great location

We loved staying here for one week. Everything was super clean, and we loved the welcoming space and private access. Definitely would return here & highly recommend. Good loaction in the neighborhood with street parking -sometimes had to walk a little from parking to the entry.
