Blue Pearl Cottage at North Coast Village – A16

Soak in the soothing ocean view from your balcony at Blue Pearl Cottage, a beautifully upgraded 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach-level cottage just steps from the sand.

The single-level layout features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, modern cookware, and everything you need to cook and dine in comfort. The elegant living area includes three armchairs, a queen sleeper sofa, and a large smart TV — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

Both bathrooms have been newly renovated with fresh vanities and stunning blue tile backsplashes, echoing the coastal charm throughout.

You'll love the exclusive amenities of the A Building, including a heated pool and spa, barbecues, laundry, and table tennis — plus access to the full North Coast Village resort: tropical landscaping, pool tables, foosball, putting green, fitness center, and more.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9.

The complex consists of nine four-story buildings surrounded by two-story cottages, on several acres of lushly landscaped tropical grounds. Enjoy a romantic walk on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Southern California.

Experience spectacular sunsets and enjoy a relaxing dinner along the picturesque adjacent harbor which features several excellent restaurants, great live music, and fun and unique shopping. There are also kayak, boat, and paddle boat rentals, and fishing or whale watching excursions.

It is a lovely condo and very well stocked. Perfect location to the beach. You walk out the gate and you are steps from a quiet beach. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Mixed feelings, it’s a great location right across from the beach. And it’s a beautiful area.The kitchen has everything you need. They have some beach equipment which was nice. It’s older and has been renovated, kind of cheaply. The biggest thing for us was there’s NO AC so you have to open the windows at night. It’s right on a Main Street so there is so much road noise:, we didn’t get one good nights sleep the 4 nights we were there. And my husband was there for an Ironman race and needed sleep. Plus the weather was cold and hot and humid. You need temperature control. And then the carpets were so dirty. There were boogers on some walls and poop splatter on the toilet paper holder and wall in the smaller barhroom. The communication with the manager is difficult. They don’t respond right away. I don’t think we’d stay here again.

The home is accurately listed as not having air conditioning, which is common for many properties in our coastal area due to the typically mild climate. To help with comfort, the unit is equipped with both ceiling and floor fans. Being located directly across from the beach on a main street is also reflected in the listing, as many guests specifically choose this location for its convenience and views. That said, we take cleanliness concerns very seriously. What you described does not meet our standards, and we are addressing this directly with our cleaning team. Regarding communication, we strive to respond in a timely manner and regret if your experience did not reflect that. We also want to clarify that we replace our pillows regularly as part of our commitment to guest comfort. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the guest experience. This apartment was perfect for our family! The location was amazing. So often "steps from the beach" means a lot more steps than you think, but not this one! It is so, so close and it made getting to the sand and water so easy. It is very walkable to the pier, and there is a bathroom and outdoor shower right where the beach meets the sidewalk so you can rinse off the sand. On top of that, the complex itself has great amenities. Great pools, BBQs, it's gorgeous with plants and water features. It also felt secure with gates where they were needed. The apartment was set up perfectly for a family. It was so nice having two bathrooms. We really enjoyed the beach chairs, some life jackets and and umbrella that were there for us. Towels, as well. There was plenty of bedding. We especially loved the front deck where you could sit at the bar and eat or drink a cup of tea while watching surfers and listening to the waves.The very few downsides...The kitchen was well stocked but even though there were multiple sets of salt and pepper shakers, there was no salt or pepper Bring all food items you might need. The pull out sofa is in the living room and it is small. Luckily we were just putting one child on it but if it was two adults it would be tight. The street next to the condo seemed to be a fun place for people to drive, and there was loud music and loud cars late. It wasn't too bad for us but if I had little ones it may have been a problem. Overall, would 100% go back.
