Rural Country Cottage With Mountain Cabin Atmosphere

Are you planning a trip to or through the wonderful state of Wyoming? Nestled in an area known as the Big Horn Basin is our little piece of Heaven and we invite you to come and enjoy! This over 100 year old country cottage features unique river rock structure on the outside with cozy mountain cabin decor on the inside. Come and enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains! We are only an hour's driving distance from the mineral hot springs in Thermopolis, Cody nightly rodeos, Buffalo Bill Historical and Winchester museums, renowned fishing and hunting, rock climbing and many other activities and attractions as well as being about 2 hours from the gate entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The 'cabin' features 1 bedroom and bathroom on the main level as well as 1 bedroom in the loft area with a futon and hide-a-bed for additional sleeping.

Cute cabin! We enjoyed our stay. Nice, private location with a view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Will definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area. Renee was a great host!

Wyoming fun

We picked the right place. A cabin in the valley. A perfect location Short distances for our exploration of Cody, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Mt Rushmore and much more. Our cabin was comfortable and perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. We’re from Wisconsin. If we ever head to Wyoming again, we will pick this wonderful cabin again!

Charming Rock House

The Rock House was amazing, very clean and well stocked. Owners Renee and Kevin were awesome. Renee was very prompt in communications. It was a great place to stay to explore Cody or to spend time in the Big Horn mountains. Would definitely recommend and hope to be able to make a return trip to the area and spend more time at the Rock House.

Peaceful. Perfect setting for coffee in the morning and beer/wine in the evening. Cozy lodging. 10 - 15 minutes from Greybull. Cabin felt like home for a couple days. Thank you.

What a beautiful home!

Our recent stay at this home was such a warm and cozy experience! The owners are very friendly and very welcoming. Our time was too short in Basin. Very nice! Unique cozy country house Well decorated! Stocked well! Everything from snacks ~cookware spices to toothbrush and more. The hosts do a great job. Would very much recommend.

If I could give Renee and Kevin ten stars, I would! Everything was perfect from start to finish. I felt so welcome, was enchanted with the stone house, which is completely unique, Quiet country nights, beautiful bright mornings in a warm, welcoming environment. Our hosts had everything at the ready, super comfy sleeping arrangements, clean throughout, loved the outside fire pit and the horses, easy navigating to locations we wanted to visit, cannot rate this highly enough-thank you, Kevin and Renee for making our Wyoming experience so special!

Great place to stay.

Extremely clean and great care has been taken to keep things in good shape. I loved the cabin decor. Well appointed kitchen to have everything you may need. For my husband and I , the location was perfect for everything we wanted to see without having to drive for hours.

We loved everything about this cabin. Renee is absolutely the best hostess. The cabin has a ton of personal touches, and you really feel at home the moment you step inside. She is very easy to contact, and is extremely helpful with suggestions for dining or adventures.

Great Private Cabin

We loved staying at the stone cabin in Basin. Renee was great to work with and she helped to ensure our trip was a great one. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious, and we were surprised to find that it also had a good internet connection, which the kids appreciated. The cabin is in a great location just south of Greybull, which made it easy for us to visit Cody, Yellowstone, Bighorn National Forest and Sheridan. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area. A++ experience.
