The house was lovely! It had everything that we needed for our stay. The views are spectacular! Remote but with quick, easy access to all the sights! Would highly recommend it!
What a beautiful way to start your holiday! This property was awesome . Very bittersweet leaving the home, the views, the foghorn ! Very much a slice of heaven ! Highly recommended !
Amazing home, location and owners.
St. John's was a great vacation choice for us and staying in a lighthouse keepers house was amazing. The house has been remodeled and had all the modern ammenities we needed. Peter and Nicole are very helpful but not intrusive, and were fast to respond to our questions. Watching the commercial shipping and cruise ships coming and going was great. The only things some may find as negative would be the occasional foghorn and the narrow one lane windy road along a cliff leading up to the house. We found both to be part of the charm of living at a lighthouse. We highly recommend staying here while visiting St. John's. You will love it!
A perfect location and home
We visited Newfoundland for an annual family vacation with our adult children and their partner, and absolutely loved staying here. The location and view was gorgeous, the home was lovely and well-appointed, comfortable and it was such a unique place to stay. We highly recommend.
Beautiful Week in St. John's
I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The views were breathtaking and the house is beautiful. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available. There were ships going in and out of the harbour. We had sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the city of St. John's. There were also a bunch of whales right out the front window. We were also just a few feet from the start of the East Coast Trail which made for a great opportunity to do a bit of hiking.
We would definitely stay here again.
