About Anna Prokop
Originally from Poland, we moved to Bradenton/Sarasota area in 2013 after living in Maryland's Washington DC suburbs for over 25 years. We have 2 teens and have discovered Anna Maria Island several years ago when coming to Florida for our annual amusement parks trips. After many visits to the Island we decided to move to the area permanently. We bought a farm in Myakka City which is next to Bradenton and Sarasota and moved there permanently in the Summer of 2013.
Anna Prokop purchased this House in 2011
Why Anna Prokop chose Holmes Beach
We found this house in 2011 as it was being built. We were attracted by two things: its size and comfort as it's much bigger than most 6 bedroom houses on the Island and by its unique Clark Lake location. Many people on the island don't even know that this lake exists because it is not readily visible from the street. The lake offers wonderful views and an opportunity to observe wildlife that frequents its waters. For instance, there is a gray heron that visits the yard each morning. It is very neat to watch it while eating breakfast.
What makes this House unique
Sarasota-Bradenton Florida, also known as the “culture coast,” is a melting pot of artists, executives, philanthropists, and beach-lovers from all over the world. The sugar-white sands and vast expanses of warm, shallow, aqua-blue waters draw people from the other side of the world to the center of the state. Though Sarasota-Bradenton is part of the greater Tampa-St. Petersburg metropolitan area, it has a style that is distinctly all its own, and is separated by the natural boundary of Tampa Bay. The well recognized Sunshine Skyway Bridge links Sarasota-Bradenton with its big brother to the north. Over 650,000 residents call Sarasota-Bradenton their home, in organic communities like Northwest Bradenton, to planned communities like Lakewood Ranch and Palmer Ranch to the south. Longboat Key is host to one of the wealthiest zip codes in the country. Siesta Key is known for its beautiful beaches and nightlife, where Anna Maria Island is a virtual melting pot of all types of people. If sports are your passion, the area host spring training baseball teams, offers endless water sports, fishing and boating, and has one of the highest saturation of golf courses in the country.

Perfect location, big bedrooms and great outdoor/pool area
10th year renting on island and biggest place we have rented. By far and away best outdoor bar and cooking area. Located few minutes from beach and in between Skinnys and Sandbar.
My husband and our family joined us at this beautiful home for our wedding at the Sandbar. We couldn’t have been happier with the home and it’s amenities. With ample space, lush landscaping and everything to suit a beach vacationers needs... it was near perfection. You know the stay was a hit, if the worst thing was running out of toilet paper.
They pretty much had everything we needed (that we forgot). You can tell Anna and her husband truly care about the people who rent their home. Thank you so much for giving us unforgettable memories and bringing our family together for the weekend. Forever greatful. The Cintrons.
Great Family Trip
We spent a week in this house while preparing for my sons wedding. It was the perfect house for our extended family. It was clean, well kept and beautiful. The pool/hot tub was so nice and enjoyed by all. The owner was great to work with and very responsive.
What an amazing home!!
Everything was great, and the house is even more beautiful in person. Plenty of space for our group of twelve. Lots of activities - bikes, ping pong, kayak, and of course the pool and jacuzzi. Walking distance to the beautiful beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
Great house with plenty of space. Great location!
Wonderful house, Anna was very accommodating!
Best bday/family beach trip in a LONG TIME!!
What a WONDERFUL experience from start to finish! Anna was quick to answer any and all questions I had prior to booking, and even provided a large crate for my sister's dog for our stay. When we arrived, everything was beautiful and clean and the AC was on, which is crucial in this Florida heat. We are a family of 8 and there was room to spare in this lovely home. The kitchen had anything one might need to cook with, and even a good selection of spices (though we brought our own, not knowing). The outdoor grill/bar area was a delight, as was the pool, which was a wonderful temperature no matter what time of day we went in. The house is a 5min stroll to the beach, and the garage has just about any pool/beach accessory you might need (including a cart to carry them in). There are towels and linens a-plenty, and there was hotel-sized shampoo/soaps. It truly was one of the best beach houses we have stayed at, and felt like a true home away from home. The memories we made on this trip are priceless, and we definitely will be planning on future trips in this epic house!
Travelers' Choice® 2013 Winner Islands The barrier island of Anna Maria is an absolute slice of laid-back paradise. Golfing and fishing are two of the most popular tourist activities, though an afternoon lounging at Bean Point beach is a must-do, too. The Anna Maria Island Historical Museum is a fun way to soak up some local history when you’re taking a break from soaking up the sun.
