About this property

Serene Retreat at Garza’s Ranch - Ponies & Cows

Our cozy barn-style home (and everything on the property) was thoughtfully built from the ground up by "Garza" himself, giving your stay a truly personal and authentic ranch feel. The property sits on 4 acres, with about 1 acre for the house and 3 acres home to our cows and ponies, including mamas and their babies.

You’ll drive through a quiet rural subdivision to arrive, but once you’re here, the space feels peaceful, private, and surrounded by open land. At the entrance, an antique truck sits on a hand-built brick platform, adding a unique rustic touch and a great photo opportunity.

The lighted pavilion is perfect for BBQs, relaxing evenings, or small gatherings.

Guests can also access the stable area from the porch or inside the home, where we provide feed so you can interact with and feed the cows up close—one of our guests’ favorite experiences.

Please note this is a true ranch setting. You may encounter bugs and natural dust. We provide a bug zapper and tiki torches to help, but if you have strong allergies to dust or hay, don't forget your allergy medicine!

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please lock the front gate as you leave.
Send us a quick message to let us know when you have left. If you need to stay a little past your check-out time, just let us know. We will work with you.
Don't forget to sign our guestbook! We would love to hear from you and will offer you a "repeat customer" discount.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No fireworks or gun shooting are allowed on the property. Law enforcement will be called. FYI - Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front door.
Music should not be playing loud after: Sunday - Thu - 10:30pm Friday & Saturday - 12am
ONLY feed/pet cows in the designated stable. We will NOT be responsible if something happens if you go into their pens. Only feed them what we provide

We love creating a place where families, couples, and friends can slow down, relax, and make special memories together. We’re always just a call or text away and happy to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We chose this area because of its quiet, open space and peaceful country feel. While you’ll drive through a small rural subdivision to get here, once you arrive it feels private and tucked away from the noise of the city. We love the slower pace, the fresh air, and the simple beauty of being surrounded by land and animals—it’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge.

What makes this property unique

Garza’s Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t find just anywhere. From feeding and interacting with our cows to enjoying our friendly ponies, guests get a true hands-on ranch experience. The barn-style home, custom-built by Julio Garza, adds a personal touch you can feel throughout the property.

Guests also love our unique photo areas, including an antique truck display, a horse and carriage setup, and our fun milking cow experience—great for photos, family fun, and social media moments.

We also have a lighted pavilion for BBQs and gatherings, a firepit for cozy evenings, hammocks to relax in, and open space to truly disconnect. It’s a peaceful escape where you can enjoy nature, animals, and time together.
