Want to go a bit further? Washington DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore are each about 2 hours away. You’ll find a brochure display rack in the laundry room with over 40 destinations for you to pick from.
Once you’re back on the island, you’ll be there just in time to enjoy the most spectacular sunset you can imagine. After dark, light a fire in the fire pit (wood provided), located on the upper beach (yes, you have 2 beaches!) and roast marshmallows (skewers provided) or, make them into smores. When it’s completely dark you’ll see an astonishing number of stars. Spend hours star gazing with the naked eye or binoculars (3 provided). Before putting your head on your pillow, listen to the sound of the waves gently breaking on the sandy beach.
