A lot about how we have designed the house is a result of our own experience of travelling and of what works for us when we travel. We have created a home away from home that has what a traveller needs in self-catered accommodation. We have furnished and decorated the house with art and design from southern Africa. From the house you would not guess that there are shops and restaurants in walking distance and that the city, Johannesburg’s universities and the vibey and popular nightlife of Melville are a ten minute drive away. The cottage is serviced once a week – it is cleaned, tidied and linen and towels changed. We are happy to arrange that the house are cleaned on extra days for a small additional fee. We don’t offer a laundry service and instead guests have access to a washing machine and washing line on the property. We also guide guests to the “drop and collect” laundry service in the neighbourhood. There is secure parking on the premises for two cars. Spacious, sunny house designed for your comfort?
