This fabulous lakefront home has a combination of the original camp plus a newer addition making this a perfect Adirondack getaway with a traditional feel yet with the comforts of home. Get away from the hectic life of work and relax: swim, fish, boat, hike, golf, read, or just bask in the sun.
The lake house sits just feet off of the lake nestled amid woods with 110 feet of water frontage, situated in a protected cove, on beautiful Brantingham Lake. Facing west/north west this property boasts one of the best sunsets on Brantingham Lake.
Both the kitchen and family room have large windows overlooking the lake. The original portion of the camp has a beautiful stone fireplace. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and is equipped with two ovens, a microwave oven, and all cooking and eating utensils.
The original portion of the camp has two bedrooms. One of these bedrooms has two sets of bunk beds and the second has a queen bed. The third bedroom, located upstairs in the new addition has a queen bed and full bed and a full bath. This bedroom has a door that opens onto the deck overlooking the lake.
If you love outdoor activities like swimming, kayaking, hiking, biking, and golf, this vacation rental is for you. You will have a private dock, swimming area, two kayaks, a canoe, and a blow-up boat. This house is only 1 1/2 miles from Brantingham Golf Course – a well maintained, reasonably priced 18 hole course.
Brantingham Lake is underground-spring fed - it's water is reknown for its high quality. The Brantingham community organization monitors and maintains these high standards of excellence.
There are many local, well-maintained, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV trails. Reference materials for day hikes, canoeing excursions, and other outings are also provided. Bring your fishing gear! There is great fishing in Brantingham Lake and local streams; both indigenous and stocked varieties. Smallmouth, largemouth, and rock bass, lake trout, brown trout, bullhead, pickerel, walleye, and yellow perch thrive in these waters. (Fishing in NY requires a license.)
If you are too tired to cook after a full day on the lake, there are several Brantingham eateries/pubs that will satisfy your hunger. Pine Tree Tavern, Brantingham Inn Motel, and the Coach Light Inn (all within a couple of miles from the camp).
