En gång på en naturlig sanddyn i Port Aransas spratt upp den mest ovanliga egenskapen i denna Beach Community, The Dome and Cottage in the Dunes. Denna pittoreska, tysta och ytterst bekväma strandstuga delar den orörda poolen med fastighetsägaren vid kupolen. Ägaren använder inte poolen när det finns gäster på stugan så den är din ensam. Stugan i sanddynerna har ett eget däck med utsikt över poolen och är upphöjd från gatan med cirka 20 steg. Landskapsarkitekturen som är både tropisk och inbjudande och välkomnar dig till denna semester till din helg, smekmånad eller liten familjesemester. Great location and very cozy! Private pool was great to cool off after a day of drinking and being on the beach! Temp was perfect. Cottage was great and bed was comfy!

Very quiet location with a 10-12 minute walk to beach. Beautiful pool next to cottage. Our 8-month-old Great Pyrenees felt at home. Clean living area, kitchen, bath and bedroom, well-appointed. Responsive hosts who are nearby and quick to respond to questions. Most restaurants and stores within a mile to 1.5 miles. We would stay here again

We had such a wonderful stay in Port A! The home was even better than expected. The private pool was perfect for relaxing after the beach, and we loved that it was dog-friendly so our pup could come along too. The host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. The property truly exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Perfect Anniversary Trip

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the cottage in the dunes! It was the perfect place for the two of us plus our dog. We loved having a private pool to cool off in after a day at the beach, and loved how close the property is to the beach access point. It was the perfect location to get to everything in town as well! We would definitely come back.

We loved our stay here! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend staying at Cottage in the Dunes. So close to everything and the beach. Anne and Rebecca were only a phone call away if you needed anything.

My small family loved this little cottage! The in-ground private pool was absolutely the best feature. We did not want to get out! It has no shade during midday so plan accordingly!We bought a parking pass for the beach because it was easier than the 12 minute walk over there when you have two littles. But it is an easy walk for anyone not carrying too much baggage.We also had our two medium dogs with us. They loved going to the little dog yard a couple of houses down.My family loved this place so much that we extended our stay an extra day!Even though the cottage is quaint, it easily fit our family of 4 and 2 fur babies. I highly suggest this home away from home for anyone that can climb the steps.

We love this place

This is our go to property for a relaxing get away in Port Aransas. This place is perfect for two or three people that like to split their time between the beach and private time next to the pool. It's clean and has everything you need to cook and watch movies after a full day hanging at the beach and swimming away the afternoon.

Spotless with great pool

A great option for couples looking for a spot close to the beach. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. I was dog-sitting for my daughter, so we were happy that it was pet-friendly. There is a great little fenced in area two doors down from the cottage for your fur babies to stretch their legs. I missed the 2nd payment and was grateful that they tried so hard to remind me and did not cancel my reservation. Great spot!

Get A Way

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days.This cottage is adorable and perfect for a nice relaxing get a way. The decor was so cute and cozy. You can tell the hosts take very good care of the property as everything was well maintained. The cottage was spotless. It had everything you could think of. The communication with the host was very timely. The pool was perfect. We will definitely visit again.

Quaint cottage by the beach

Very nice vacation spot for a couple. Short walk to the beach. Port A beaches aren’t the best but this rental also had a small pool which is nice for after dinner relaxation. The downside is that the pool area is completely visible to the rental property next door and above us. We visited off season so it wasn’t an issue.

BeeGee had lived in Port Aransas for 35 years, and was acquainted with the Dome and Cottage property and even visited the construction site when it was being built. In 2007, she purchased the property next door and started her quest to acquire the Dome and Cottage. With luck and hard work, she made that dream a reality this past year after having managed it for the former owner for 4 years. I could not be happier to take over the ownership and management of this lovely property. Anne
