WHY STAY IN WAILUKU

Wailuku is one of Maui’s most interesting and underrated towns. Set below the West Maui Mountains and just minutes from ʻĪao Valley, it offers a more local, walkable, and authentic Maui experience than the resort zones.

From the property, you can walk to coffee, brunch, restaurants, juice bars, boutiques, yoga, live music, art, and the historic ʻĪao Theater. You are also centrally located for exploring the island, with easy access to the airport, North Shore, South Maui beaches, Upcountry, Haleakalā, and the Road to Hana.

Wailuku is ideal for guests who want a calm home base, great local food, and a real neighborhood feel while still being close to Maui’s beaches, hikes, and adventures.

Nearby favorites include Wailuku Coffee Company, Maui Juice Co., SixtyTwo MarcKet, Tiffany’s Restaurant & Bar, A Saigon Café, Esters Fair Prospect, The Parlay, 808 on Main, Wai Bar, and ʻĪao Valley State Park.

While Wailuku is walkable and convenient, we recommend renting a car to fully explore the island.

This was an amazing property for our family vacation! We were able to all be together but still have our own spaces to regroup. The house was so clean and so beautiful we loved eating breakfast and dinner on the back deck and hanging out on the back patio. This was a great way to experience Maui its a short walk to local coffee shops and restaurants which was super convenient on nights we were wanting to eat at the house. Having a laundry room was so nice since we went to the beach everyday and did lots of hiking. The sauna was also a fun bonus we used every day. I highly HIGHLY recommend this rental it was truly amazing place to go back to and relax/recharge after a day of exploring Maui. My whole family agrees this was such an amazing place to call home for the week.

Worked out really well for our family. We had my family, my mother and father in law and my brother and sister in law traveling with us. The property gave us all our own space while still being together.
