Winnipecabin - Ihastuttava hirsimökki, jossa vesi / poreallas - lähellä kaikkea!

PÄIVITYS: Juuri asennettu upouusi Sundance Spa-kylpytynnyri!

Tämä on perheemme lomakoti, joka sijaitsee Winnipesaukee-järvellä, vain kilometrin päässä Weirsin rannalta ja lyhyen 7 mailin päässä Gunstock-vuorelle! Erinomainen sijainti, joka tarjoaa upean pääsyn kaikkeen järven alueen tarjontaan!

Tämä on todellinen hirsimökki (pienten poikiemme mukaan nimeltään Winnipecabin), 3 makuuhuonetta, 2 kylpyhuonetta, iso aidattu takapiha, yksitiloinen autotalli, kylpytynnyri ja paljon muuta! Mökki on vain 500 jalkaa (4. talo ylös kadulle) järvestä umpikujaan olevalla kadulla, jolla on yhteinen pääsy (n. 25 jalkaa leveä), jotta kajakki, uinti, kellua tai jääkala helposti pudota talvella!

Makuuhuone on yläkerrassa ja siinä on queen-size-vuode, jossa kaksi erillistä vuodetta, televisio ja kylpyhuone. Alakerrassa on vielä kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa täysi sänky ja toisessa kylpyhuone, jossa täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivaaja.

Tärkein olohuone on avoin konsepti, jossa on keittiö, ruokailutila ja olohuone. Olohuoneessa on viihtyisä kaasuliesi ja kaapelitelevisio.

Mökissä on iso takakuisti, joka kulkee ohjaamon pituudella, ja siinä on uusi kylpytynnyri niille viileämmille yöille, kaasugrilli ja adirondack-tuolit oleskelua varten.

Astuessaan alas kuistilta, takapiha on tasainen ja erittäin tilava, runsaasti tilaa pihapeleille! Tuo maissireikä, hevosenkengät, kanjamit jne. Ja käytä vapaasti palokuoppaa, kun aurinko laskee ja marshmallow-himo osuu juhliin!

Siellä on suuri ajotieltä, runsaasti pysäköintitilaa, ja meillä on yksi pysäköintihalli, jos sinun on tallennettava asioita vierailusi aikana.

Paikkaa ei voi lyödä, erittäin lähellä kaikkea. Järveen ja hiihtoon sekä kaikkeen muuhun alueen tarjontaan on paljon tekemistä kaikkina vuodenaikoina!

We loved our stay at the Winnepecabin! The location is great with just a quick stroll to the lake, and the kitchen and hot tub were perfect for hanging with friends and catching up. Tons of amazing hiking nearby made for a perfect fall getaway. Our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer to spend more time enjoying the cabin! Wendy was super responsive to all of our questions and so well-prepared with all of the information we needed. We will be back!

Gathering of friends

This cabin in the suburbs was a great location for old friends to meet up in the middle of winter from all over New England. The check in process was easy, the place was clean and inviting, and the hot tub was just what we wanted. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen. It lists a bunk bed, but it was actually 2 fulls and a mattress in the closet.. which was fine for us. The lake is just a few houses away and I assume you have access (it was a very windy cold weekend, so we couldn’t enjoy that part). The neighborhood was quiet, but I’m sure that may not be the case in the summer, but the parking and privacy was good at the house.

Hosts were very responsive to all our questions and super helpful. The cabin was great, clean, had all the necessities we needed and the hot tub was great to come back to at night. Wish we had longer to enjoy all the things, would love to book the cabin again in the future!

Beautiful location and home

The property is small, but the house is gorgeous. If you’re looking for the log cabin experience, you found it here. It is close to the water there are kayaks to use. Also, it’s very close to all the excitement downtown! So many things to do we really couldn’t do them all in a few days we were there, but it would highly recommend the tiki boats. It was so much fun ask for Steve he’s a sweetie.

Quick hiking getaway

We met up with our son and his girlfriend for a quick weekend hiking getaway. The cabin was cozy and clean, with easy access to stores and restaurants in the area. Communication with Wendi and Bobby was easy and clear. Overall perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great cozy cabin for a weekend at the lake!

My group and I stayed at the cabin for a winter weekend and some pond hockey. The cabin is as advertised and Wendi was great to work with and very responsive to our questions. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable cozy spot to spend up at Lake Winnipesaukee.

Just like all the other reviews say. The house, location, check in and communication with the owners are all great. Particularly ideal is the late checkout. I have a family of 8 and getting packed up and out of a house by 9am-10am like a lot of properties want now a days is a major challenge sometimes. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a stay in Laconia.

Great for all group types and all seasons, read on...

We went in March for a ski / snowboard trip and chose this cabin due to the proximity to Gunstock Ski Area (11min drive). We very much wanted an outdoor hottub which this cabin has (fits 6). The hottub seemed brand, was very clean, modern and had great features like lights in the water and multiple jet settings. The hottub area is also in an area on the back deck that provides plenty of privacy. Also, there are lights along the roof line of the back deck area that were a nice touch once we found the remote to control them.. The cabin is beautiful on the inside. Downstairs you walk in to a dining room to your left, kitchen on your right, and living room straight ahead. The kitchen has many plates, glasses, silverware, and a corkscrew among other things included. There wasn't no dishwasher but we did not mind washing our own dishes. There are two bedrooms down the hall to the right past the kitchen which are good size each with lage enough beds for two. One room even had an additional fold out mattress in the closet that could work for one person. There was a heat zone thermostat in one of the rooms for that area. Another thermostat was next to the living room area. The living room has two couches. One was slightly larger than the other (think 3 couch cushions and 2 couch cushions). We noticed thr larger is actually a pull out bed as well if needed. Plenty if pillows and even blankets in the foot rest. The gas burning fire place in the living room was easy to use and kept us cozy as we watched a movie and played some card games. That's right, we found some games in the upstairs closet in the hallway. There are two full bathrooms with one on each floor so people can be showering at the same time if necessary. The upstairs bedroom is where we slept. I would consider it the master. In that bedroom is a large bed as well as a set of bunk beds. We actually noticed a cute area that was set aside with an additional small mattress perhaps suitable for a young child. There was a washer and dryer on the first floor for laundry as well. The WiFi worked great and the cabin comes with Netflix on the TV in the living room and master bedroom. You can login to other streaming services as well but be sure to log out when you're done. There are plenty of well written easy to follow instructions with pictures for how to use all of the features the cabin offers but the owner is also very responsive if anything should arise. Super close to the lake and hiking as well.

Great Family Friendly House Near Gunstock!

Our family of 6, including 4 kids (4-11), had an amazing time. Close to Gunstock with nearby access to restaurants and grocery stores. The house was super clean with nice amenities to keep the kiddos entertained! They were sad to leave. Looking forward to staying again the future!

The perfect getaway

I rented this cabin for my friends and I. We wanted a nice place to stay for a ski trip, and this cabin fit the bill! It was so cute and cozy. We were able to all hang out, play games and enjoy the hot tub. And the hosts were so accommodating! Would 100% stay here again!

We are an adventurous family of 5 hailing from Connecticut. Native's of Nebraska and Boston, we met on Grand Cayman island in our early 20's and never looked back. Since then we've added a few kids and our awesome log cabin up at Lake Winnipesaukee that our boys named Winnipecabin.

Wendi spent many nights in her childhood up at Winnipesaukee and Bobby, being from the midwest, often visited the large lakes in the Ozarks and Table Rock. When it came time to find the perfect spot for our family to get away to we found it in Winnipecabin and especially considering the insane amount of activities the Lake Region has to offer!

I mean, it's a log cabin. There's something special and warm about a log home that we really wanted to have as a part of our family. Whether we walk up from a kayak at the cabin's water access or warm up by the fireplace or in the new Sundance Spa hot tub after skiing and snowboarding all day at Gunstock, the cabin is a cozy place to bring a family together.
