Un refugio de privacidad y tranquilidad absoluta, este lujoso ático de tres pisos ofrece vistas panorámicas de aguas turquesas del Caribe Mexicano. Ideal para aquellos que buscan una experiencia única y exclusiva, un retiro romántico o unas relajantes vacaciones familiares.


Ubicado en el extremo sur y más tranquilo de la isla, tiene vistas al Parque Natural del Arrecife Garrafón, donde se puede practicar snorkel, kayak, sobrevolar Isla Mujeres en la tirolina y desintoxicarse en la sauna maya.


Si un día de relajación total es más de su callejón, darse un chapuzón en la piscina de borde infinito y más tarde disfrutar de una merecida siesta.


Disfrute de los amplios interiores llenos de sol de esta residencia y del diseño moderno y minimalista que se presenta de forma hermosa en todo con un enfoque en múltiples opciones de vida y entretenimiento.


1er nivel:

• Aproveche la cocina totalmente equipada, el elegante comedor y la sala de estar con un cómodo sofá y un televisor de pantalla plana, y un elegante baño compartido. Perfecto para entretener o mantener a los jóvenes ocupados.

• Salga al balcón y use nuestra mesa de comedor al aire libre para disfrutar de una comida fabulosa mientras disfruta de la deslumbrante exhibición de una hermosa puesta de sol contra los colores del agua del océano.

• Descanse en paz en nuestro dormitorio de invitados



2do nivel:

• Para mayor privacidad diríjase a nuestro elegante dormitorio principal (1224 pies cuadrados) con baño. Incluye una cama king-size, walk-in closet y sala de estar y fluye a través de un amplio balcón privado para obtener más sensacionales vistas.

Terraza en la azotea:

• Tome un libro y perfeccione su bronceado en nuestras hamacas o hamacas mientras el resto prepara una barbacoa. El flujo de bebidas debe aplicarse.  Captura más vistas de nuestras aguas cristalinas y el horizonte de Cancún.

Isla Mujeres 3025

Very nice property. Spacious with gorgeous views. The only downside of this property, is that it was on the 3rd floor to the 1st level. Once inside, there are two more flights of stairs. So I would not suggest for the elderly or infirmed. No elevator on property. I would rent again and recommend this property.

Amazing views! Comfortable stay

Wonderful stay at the Sotavento! South end of the island which was quieter and calmer than the north side which we appreciated. The condo complex had a fabulous pool that we enjoyed with the kids every day! The other residents and renters were very friendly and there were always loungers to enjoy. The unit itself had everything you need, we appreciated the pitcher for drinks and the big coffee pot! The beds were super comfortable and there were extra bedding and pillows for all. We especially appreciated housekeeper Cesar and house manager Delia who were incredibly helpful and accommodating!! Delia helped us arrange cart rentals and groceries too! They were fantastic and made the trip extra easy and enjoyable. Overall an amazing stay at this apartment and the sea and sunset views from all three balconies were incredible. - best views on the island !

Great place

We stayed for two weeks and daughter and son in law came to visit for most of the stay and gave them the master. Yes there are a few stairs here, but we didn’t mind the exercise. View is wonderful. Only thing we missed was a microwave in the kitchen. Pool was a great place to cool off in the afternoon. Manager and staff on site were very responsive and caring to any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place to stay!

The property is beautiful, we’ll maintained and in a nice quiet location. The pool is great and has a bathroom so you don’t need to go back to room. It is located above Garrafon de Castilla beach club so you can snorkel and hang at the beach right behind the unit. The is a small store, pharmacist, and 2 restaurants within a few hundred yards. It’s about 20 min cart ride to town. The condos have their own security person too! The unit is beautiful! Great beds! Great views!!! The only negative is there are 2 flights of stairs, but it’s not bad, easy climb. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to be on the quiet side of Isla!

South end beauty

Great condo, looks better in person than photos. Cesar was awaiting us when we arrived. Very helpful, carried my luggage up to the condo which was nice because it took me a couple days to get used to those stairs up to it! Cesar took his time showing us everything and was very friendly. Delia, the property manager answered all my inquiries with speed and grace. Gorgeous views of sea facing Cancun from every balcony. Southwest facing, so very warm in the afternoon. Well equipped kitchen. Didn’t do much cooking other than breakfast though as Isla has too many yummy restaurants! For those wanting to keep costs down, head to the Chedauri for food and booze ( about 10 min away by golf cart) Golf cart a plus in this area as you are a distance from everything. Taxis also plentiful in the area and there is also a bus you can take. We preferred the golf cart just so we could come and go on our own schedule. Would definitely return!

We love it at Sotovento!

This is our second time at this property and the property manager, Delia, is THE BEST to work with! She makes everything seamless. The property is in a fantastic location with stunning views and everything you need. We are already talking about coming back for our third visit to the island and staying here. Isla Mujeres is gorgeous!!!

All the comforts of home. Beautiful place! You need a kart staying here so you can explore. If North beach is too busy for you, stay here! Excellent snorkling out front as well. Don't forget to visit Taqueria Mafer too ;-)

Another wonderful stay in Isla Mujeres!

We stayed in the adjacent apartment last summer and couldn't wait to return this year. The building complex is nice and quiet and well-kept. I love the infinity pool, and the snorkeling right off shore is gorgeous. We cooked at the condo each day and appreciated having a dishwasher and washer in the condo. All the needed cooking supplies were there except for cooking oil, so I'd recommend stopping for groceries at Chedraui and bring your own bags, if you can! The bedrooms were both great, and the showers were very nice. We brought our own snorkeling equipment and snorkeled right in front at Garrafon de Castilla (not the water park Garrafon, which is down the road). We rented a golf cart and explored Punta Sur again, which is worth the entry cost. It's such a beautiful island and we loved staying on the south end and visiting the north one day. My kids are already asking to return!

Another Great Stay in Isla

We've stayed in Sotavento before and absolutely love the property. Safe, clean and secure. Love being close to The Joint. The golf cart ride to El Centro and Playa Norte is worth the serenity of this location. We will be back again and again!

Gem of a property!

We had an amazing stay! We were a group of two adults and two kids, ages 6 and 11. Firstly, Delia, the property manager is very responsive and helpful. Many thanks to Delia for making our stay worry free. -We liked the location, closer to Punta Sur. It was very quiet and relaxing. We rented a golf cart for the entirety of our 8 night stay. It’s about 10-15 min golf cart ride to mid island and 20 min to Playa Norte area. We loved driving around and exploring the island. The views from inside the unit are incredible. We had no issues with the amount of stairs to the unit (two flights) or inside the unit, but it would be a consideration for someone with mobility issues. -The unit is immaculately clean. Very comfortable beds! We had everything we needed. The washing machine was especially helpful to rinse our swimsuits etc. There is a fold out drying rack, but no dryer. This wasn’t an issue for us as things quickly dried on the patio. The AC in the unit worked fabulously. We very much appreciated the filtered water jug dispenser in the kitchen, there was always a new full one available when it was emptied. -Our one suggestion is to add darker or black-out shades. This would help with morning sleep and to keep the hot afternoon sun from warming up the unit. Again, no issues with AC doing the job, the unit was always cool, but darker shades would help with efficiency. -Overall we had an amazing stay and are already dreaming of our return trip.

Perfect Island Retreat

Beautiful condo in wonderful location with picturesque ocean view. Walking distance to a mini mart, two restaurants (Ranchero and The Joint), and Punta Sur. Due to some last minute maintenance, we couldn’t use the the pool. No worries….Property Manager Delia was quick to provide us with condo credit. We used the Garrafon de Castilla (public beach club) at 11 USD per day/person just steps away for a couple days to enjoy their facilities. Overall we had a wonderful time exploring the island and staying here. Gracias for all the memories and we will be back.

Quiet, clean and spacious property with gorgeous views

We were surprised how large the property was. Very clean and well maintained unit. Quiet building with friendly staff. Felt very safe. Nice walking distance to restaurants, store, and fun things to do. We had a fantastic time and look forward to coming back.

Wonderful Winter getaway

Wonderful location on the south part of the island. Amazing pool to swim laps every day which I very much enjoyed. Incredible view. The property manager was very helpful.

Another relaxing stay at Sotavento

We have already been there 3 times, apartment is spotless, perfect location away from the busy centre, view from the terrace is fantastic and the infinity pool a nice touch to cool down after a day at the beach, Delia the house manager was very helpful and fantastic as usual, we hope to go back there again soon You will need a golf cart to explore the island, the several small beaches and stop at a local restaurant on the road to town, the Joint is a lively restaurant just opposite the apartment and you can have a bite to eat there if you don't fancy going around

Gorgeous Views

Beautiful condo and the views from all 3 decks were amazing. My first time staying on the south end of the island and i didn't regret it. It was quiet and very relaxing. We had an early flight in and the owner was able to accommodate early check in for us which was greatly appreciated on our part, since we were traveling with kids. Highly recommend this beautiful condo to anyone.

Weekend getaway

From beginning to end this was the best decision we made. The views sold us and even though we were only two people we used nearly all this condo had to offer. We felt like we were on vacation in our own home, we love the south end of Isla Mujeres. Our check in and out we’re seamless and easy. When we walked in th the property the windows were wide open to such a beautiful view! And the ambiance was set with relaxing ambient music and it felt immediately relaxing. We are frequent visitors to the island and we have stayed nearly all sides. This was our second stay at Sotavento and this was by far a better and best experience here. We relaxed beyond imagination and the views from each floor were better and better. We spent a lot of time in the primary suite and put our coffee service on the desk for easy access and sat cuddled on the large chair every morning sipping coffee and easing into the day. This is a definite property to stay, bed was comfy and spoiled us every night. Washer was a great amenity and the fact there was laundry detergent, coffee, sugar, dishwashing powder and products for the shower you literally needed nothing but your toothbrush and toothpaste. We were so happy here and hope we left it better for the next guest we can’t wait to be back. Thank you for a great experience we truly enjoyed every minute :)

To the rescue

We found out the hotel we booked was hosting an all night party and we wanted no part of it. We lucked out and found this beautiful condo right down the road for the same price and loved it. They got back to us within minutes of our inquiry and the booking was simple. Any fears I had of booking at the last minute with little time to review went away as we walked in. It is beautiful and has incredible views. The three levels connected by stairs worked great for us. The kids got their own room on one level we took the one on the main and that left a cute patio terrace up on the third level to sun bath or chill out on with beautiful views of Cancun. Thanks for coming to our rescue!

Great stay!

Incredible views from all 3 decks. We were supplied well with water, TP, etc. Really spacious master bedroom. Our AC went out in the family room/kitchen area but we were taken care of. The sunsets were incredible and I would recommend this condo to anyone.
