I have lived in the mountains of Western North Carolina my whole life. I grew up in Ashe County and moved to Henderson County after college and a brief residency in the Winston Salem area. I and my long time partner also own a home in Prosperity, SC on Lake Murray that we use as a rental as well. We have been hosting there for about 5 years.
Why they chose this property
This home is nestled in amongst trees in a quiet golf community. You will feel a sense of tranquility as soon as you begin your drive into the neighborhood. If you happen to be here during the fall foliage, you will drive in among the colorful trees that line the road to the home. If you come during the spring and summer, you will be surrounded by lush greenery.
What makes this property unique
This home offers 3 spacious decks. The upper deck is just off of bedroom 3. You can sit and view mountains in the distance and in the fall, enjoy the colors of fall foliage. The back deck will be a great place to enjoy your morning coffee as it sits just off the galley style kitchen. You will also get the chance to see our resident white squirrels, plenty of deer and possibly a fox or two.
