Very Good

The host was very attentive and accessible. The scenery was fantastic, between the deer running across the property and the view of Canyon Lake. We loved the theme of the room, in that we actually listened to the various artists on the wall and danced to our favorites.
Check in was super easy. Woke up to a great view of the lake. When we drove around, we saw so many deer and that was in the evening before the sun had set. Family went fishing at night. Outdoor area is set up nice as well. If you have any questions, they are so quick in replying. Would definitely stay here again
Do not stay here until the property is properly maintained and under new management. While our check-in process went smoothly, another couple traveling with us had a terrible experience. It took nearly 30 minutes to reach anyone because we had to call repeatedly before finally receiving a text response. We were told they were on another call, but their voicemail box was also full.Once we got to the room, we found dog hair and human hair on one of the beds, along with brown stains inside the blanket on another bed. The room was also missing the refrigerator that had been advertised, which was a major issue since we needed to keep insulin refrigerated. The shower had no hot water in the evening, though it worked the next morning. While trying to make coffee, I washed two coffee cups and discovered a major leak under the kitchen sink. I again attempted to contact management using the listed phone number and was told their phone screen was broken. It was very frustrating that they provided a contact number but were consistently unreachable.Although we were given a partial refund, I believe a full refund would have been more appropriate. We ended up leaving as soon as possible and had to book another place for our second night at nearly twice the cost. This property has a lot of potential, but it feels like it may have changed ownership from someone who cared to someone who no longer does.Pay a little more and stay somewhere else, you will save in the long run!!
