Super great apartment bungalow for what we needed for the weekend. Really strict on any outside visitors coming mid stay. Beautiful pool gorgeous grounds and perfect accommodations for cooking if wanted.

very nice condo with some drawbacks

The place is exactly as pictured with a very well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are well-planted and there's a lovely view of a wild garden from the deck. The jitney drivers are especially handy and pleasant. The ride to the restaurant at the top of the mountain has great views. Except for the window to the deck, I kept the windows closed because of the noise and vehicle exhaust on the cobblestone road at the side of the condo. The owner, Romeo, was fair in his price for my month's stay and very agreeable in his online messages. However, my check-in with the guard gave me only pool and jitney info. The apartment had no written info on all the other things I needed to know. This is my 9th stay with HomeAway and the first time I had to contact the owner about how to turn on the TV and access the internet, how to get hot water, where to leave trash, how to refill the water purifier. I recommend that before the next rental, someone knowledgeable give the condo a complete check. Then all will be well at this nice place!

First trip to Guatemala

We we so impressed with the unit we stayed in (as well as the entire complex). Comfortable bed, great couch for naps, PRIVATE balcony and a huge shower. Far enough from town to relax but close enough to walk to great restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.
