For the vacation of a lifetime, simply strap on your skis and glide down local favorite, Powder Mountain, or drive 17 miles to Snowbasin (site of the 2002 Winter Olympics) for some extreme snowboarding. The Wasatch Mountains are also great for snowshoeing, tubing or cross-country skiing. In the summer, the snow retreats and the mountains become home to every mountain sport imaginable-from mountain biking to river kayaking. Snowbasin
This amazing ski area features 1,800 acres of bowls, glades, trails and chutes. Snowbasin offers 39 runs designed to suit the needs of snowboarders, beginner and expert skiers. 15 mi.


Wasatch Mountain State Park
The park offers both summer and winter activities and is home to a 36-hole golf course. Soldier Hollow, which served as the 2002 Olympic Winter venue for biathalon and cross-country events, is open to the public for cross-country skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, biathalon and more.


Treehouse Museum
