The Evergreen Lodge needs a massive upgrade...it feels like you returned to the 1980's. The lobby is dark, floors covered with far too many rubber mats, and scratches everywhere you look. The staff was nice. However, we were there during a fluke power outage and no one had any clue what to do. The unit had no flashlights, the emergency lights in the halls died after a few hours, including in the emergency exit stairwell, which was pitch black. Of course elevators were down, making it impossible to reach the unit at night for my elderly mother, so we had to go to Copper mountain and check-in at another hotel with power for one of our nights. The unit itself was fine, but again, very dated bathrooms. If you like updated and modern...not your place, but otherwise, OK for a short stay. Very good location.
