Beautifully Updated Clean Beach Rental Across the Street from Wells Beach

Just steps away from Wells beach, this fully renovated beach rental has views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. This rental has it all and is the perfect rental for family! We were renters on Wells beach for 15 years and understand how much easier it is to have all the conveniences of home while you are away on vacation with your family. The location of this house is at north the end of Atlantic Avenue near the public parking lot so traffic is minimized.

Wells beach is a flat soft sand beach that is great for families, surfing, swimming & finding crabs on the jetty nearby and fishing in the harbor. Get up early to see the most amazing sunrises from the beach over the Atlantic Ocean. The beach, our home and Wells town is still as beautiful as ever even after a stormy winter.

The two bedroom beach rental is the upper unit of this two unit fully renovated beach house. Come with family and/or friends and each have your own space! If you are interested in the lower unit please see our VRBO listing # 4742721.

This upper unit has two bedrooms, a beautiful living room with a brand new sectional sofa and TV that over looks the Atlantic ocean and is opened to the kitchen. The kitchen is has full size stainless steel appliances including dishwasher microwave and coffee maker. In the bathroom there is a stall shower and a new Samsung washer dryer. Relax on the deck and enjoy the views of the Atlantic ocean. An outside shower is also available to wash the sand off before coming inside.

NOTE: Linens, towels and toiletries are NOT provided however, linens and towels may be rented from a local business called Cottage Linens in Biddeford Maine that free offers delivery.

Great beach cottage

It's a nicely renovated unit that worked well for three adults. The bulk beds are pretty small so would only recommend for kids, but the trundle bed and futon provided a good alternative for sleeping. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and nicely decorated. The only suggestion I have would be to add a small trash can to the bathroom. Proximity to the beach is fantastic!

Perfect weekend

We stayed for the first time in May and love the rental. The unit was perfect size for the four of us but most definitely could accommodate a family of 5 with children or a visit from the aunt or grandparents. Everything about the listing was as advertised. Zero surprises when we got there and it was super clean. Great location near the beach and our bed was very comfy. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was we kept and had anything we needed. Bathroom was of good size was well maintained and had great water pressure. 100% recommendation with this place and we will rent again.

Overdue second honeymoon

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend for a long overdue second honeymoon. Very pleasantly surprised with the property. Had one issue with the water and the property owner showed up within 1 hour to fix everything he dropped everything to come help us. Excellent service and excellent communication from the hosts

Perfect stay

Our daughter is in college in Maine. For parents weekend, we were looking to stay somewhere where we could relax and have fun as a family. Our stay was perfect! The top floor had great views. Craig and Nicole did a fabulous job with this place! It’s cozy and cute and is close to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Loved it!

The house was clean, kitchen well stocked with all the necessities, and the house was nicely decorated. The location near the harbor was perfect! Easy walk to the jette and the beautiful silky wells sandy beach. Discovered that you can also see the moon from the master bedroom window as it rises over the harbor. It was gorgeous. We had a great time! Would highly recommend this roperty!

Perfect beach house for a family!

What great place, perfectly located to walk to the beach and close enough to quickly go back for lunch. Also great being able to walk over to the harbor at sunset, me and my 6yr went every night to skip rocks. The place is freshly renovated and has helper notes where needed. Craig the owner was great too, very accessible and happy to provide tips on things. Would definitely go back.

Perfect location

This property is exactly as pictured. It's very comfortable, in a perfect location across from Wells Beach and close to everything fun. If you have any questions or concerns, Craig is very responsive. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back next year.

Great find!

This was our first time at this cottage, and we loved it! Perfect location right across the street from the beach and has everything you need. The best part is the porch overlooking the water and the jetty. My wife and I would sit out there have our morning coffee and then again at the end of the night. My boys enjoyed the bunk beds and extra beach toys. We definitely hope to stay again.

Peaceful family time

Beautiful home. Beach cozy decor but not dated. Light and bright. Very comfortable for our family of 5 (15, 15, & 12) The front porch was a great extra space for our 6’3” son to be able to spread out. But also gave us the flexibility to offer to Nana to come up and stay for a night and not have to have anyone on the family room couch. Beautiful view of the ocean from upper deck (across the street via gap between oceanfront homes.) great quiet location near the far end /harbor. We enjoyed walking the jetty several times and watching beautiful sunsets over the harbor. The walk up to Mile Rd (shops & ice cream) is exactly one mile. A perfect stroll to deserve that yummy ice cream. We have already put in our request to rent the same place next year. A perfect little house.

Amazing property

My friends and I rented both units at Craig and Nicole’s place for MDW. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but the location was perfect and still allowed to us to make the most of the trip. The beach was right across the street and the grills were a wonderful bonus. Would absolutely come back for another weekend with better weather!

What a gem!!!

Craig and Nicole have such an amazing place. We could see the beach and the crashing waves from our porch. The walk to the beach was one minute through beautiful sand dunes with lots of beach roses. It was perfect to have an outside shower for our toddler. I don't know if we can ever stay at a place without one again! The property was very clean. It was nice to have multiple TV's with Spectrum. Internet was fast. Although we only brought one car, our next trip that we have planned will require two and there is plenty of space. Overall this place is perfect if you are looking for a beach vacation. I wish we I could give it more stars!

Royalty for the week

We've been coming to Wells Beach for many years but have never had a dishwasher, not to mention a clothes washer and dryer. That was a treat! We also appreciated hanging on the deck and the ease of cooking from walking back and forth to the grill (on the deck) through the sliding glass door to the spacious kitchen.

Great location in Wells!

We enjoyed a week stay at this property. Before arriving owner texted and called thoughtfully to make sure we were all set. The property is across from a pretty beach and has a wonderful view of the jetty and dune. The place appeared to be close to brand new and was fully appointed and clean. The deck and gas grill made for relaxing post beach time. I would stay again!

Great Rental with ocean views

Very clean & quiet home. Exactly as pictured, My husband & I had a great anniversary here. Walks on the beach daily, we sat on the deck and watched the huge waves caused from Hurricane Dorian. There are several public ways to the beach right across the street. A short walk down the street to the jetti. The kitchen was fully equipped. Craig the owner was great with communication on how to enter home and if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Craig & Nicole!

A great place

My wife and I, and our three adult children, had a great week here. Craig and Nicole's 2nd floor unit is beautiful and well appointed, and was immaculate upon our arrival. Loved the deck, with ocean view. Cross the street to a beautiful beach. Has everything you need, including w/d and beach chairs, and a gas grill, and outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.

Beautiful and comfortable!

In person this house actually looks as good as the pictures! It is located across the street from the beach and has plenty of parking space. It has a beautiful view of the beach from the deck, we actually had a hard time leaving it for the beach! It has all the amenities you need including a modern washer and dryer, gas grill and beach supplies to use. Once we were there we felt like we were at home and not staying at someone else's house. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners were very friendly and easy to get a hold of to answer any questions we had. You can tell the house is well taken care of. We would highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back!

Stunning beach house in great location!

This house is exactly as advertised! It is in an amazing location with beautiful views from every window. We stayed in the 2nd floor apartment as I highly recommend it. The best part of my day was sitting on the deck looking out at the view.The ocean breezes cannot be beat! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary utensils and the beds are very comfortable. The owners have taken great care to renovate this house and it's spotless. We simply unpacked our bags and headed for the beach!! Craig and Nicole were very kind and helpful and they answered all my questions right away. They care about their property and they treat their tenants very well. Do not hesitate! Once people start to find out about this listing, they will be completely booked!

(English translation below) Nous louons une maison dans le Maine depuis plusieurs années. C'est la première fois que nous avons été aussi satisfaits de notre location de maison. La localisation est vraiment parfaite, la plage est accessible via de nombreux public way qui sont juste à côté. Il était possible de voir le soleil se lever et se coucher de la maison, le balcon est vraiment formidable! L'intérieur de la maison est vraiment bien, les lits et le divan sont confortables, tous les électroménagers sont en bon état. Les propriétaires répondaient rapidement par textos à nos questions et étaient très sympathiques. Nous n'avons absolument rien de négatifs à dire et espérons pouvoir y retourner lors de prochaines vacances dans les environs! --------------- We have been renting houses in Maine for the last couple of years. It is the first time that we were really satisfied with the house we chose. The location was perfect, there are 3 public way just beside the house. We could see the sunrise and sunset everyday from the house and we really enjoyed the front porch to watch the ocean. The inside of the house if really nice, the beds were comfortable and all appliances worked properly and looked almost new. The owners answered all of our questions in text messages quickly and were really nice. We do not have anything negative to say about the property and hope to get back there for our next vacations.

Craig and I and our two children love spending time on beautiful Wells beach playing games, building sand castles, surfing, biking on beach in the early morning, crabbing and taking the an occasional nap of course. Craig and I have been renting on Wells beach for the past 18 years and have experienced the full range of beach rentals so we understand the how important it is to of have all the conveniences of clean home while you are away on vacation. We work hard to ensure you feel at home and we hope you love our home as much as we do!!!

Craig and I bought this home specifically due to its close proximity to Wells harbor for fishing and kayaking, the Wells jetty which is great for searching for crabs with the kids and of course beautiful Wells beach. Our home is located within 1-2 minute walk to all of these! So come enjoy the fun or just relax and enjoy one of the best beaches in Southern Maine!
