About this property
Designer Sag Harbor Village home is a short walk to Main Street and boat.
New for 2025 - Sauna with adjacent shower and changing area. Large updated gym with new equipment. Theater with tiered seating, projector, and surround sound.
Located on a quiet Sag Harbor Village cul de sac, this award winning interior designer's home is a short walk to Main Street and Mashashimuet Park with tennis and pickleball. The recently renovated house with historic features has been featured in Architectural Digest. It provides an open plan for entertaining and family time, a high-end chef's kitchen, 6.5 bright bathrooms, and 5 bedrooms (plus guest lounge) with plenty of outdoor space next to the large heated pool.
Walking up the pea gravel walkway from the driveway past the manicured English Boxwoods, the home is entered through a large lacquered entryway into the foyer from the covered porch. Within the foyer, the second floor is accessed via the country oak stairway. To the right are glass and steal pocket doors opening to the dinning room offering plenty of seating at the black oak table next to a showcase marble wet bar. To the foyer's left is the refined living room flooded with natural light providing a cozy space to read next to the wood burning fireplace.
Continuing through the foyer is the expansive bright family room with vaulted ceilings. Here the bright-white kitchen, with Sub-zero / Wolf appliances, opens to the breakfast room and den / TV room. The large kitchen island offers plenty of seating and lots of space to prep meals. Looking out onto the rear deck, patio and pool, the reclaimed oak breakfast table has seating for 10. The den/TV Room is a relaxed spot to watch a film from the 400+ movie library, Amazon, Disney+, AppleTV, Hulu, and Netflix.
The master bedroom has a spa-like ensuite bath with a freestanding therapeutic tub and rain shower. The additional two ensuite bedrooms, guest lounge along with the two other bedrooms provide plenty of added space for sleeping. If needed, additional sleeping arrangements can be arranged in the den and play room.
The large backyard has a large mahogany deck, bluestone patio with a grill, and outdoor table with lounge seating perfect for al fresco dining for 12. Listen to music (via Sonos) while relaxing on the lounges next to the 16 x 40 heated gunite salt water pool with automatic cover. In the front yard, play a game of basketball with the new adjustable hoop.
On not-so-nice days, enjoy ping pong in the game room or a movie in the new theater with tiered seating and surround sound. Relax in the new sauna after a workout in the gym that includes a Peloton and other equipment.
Private charters are available during the late spring, summer, and fall on one of the owner's boats. Other boats are also available for charter through Sag Harbor Tours. Enjoy sunset cocktail cruises, fishing, waterfront dining, trips to secluded beaches, and excursions to Montauk, the North Fork, and Shelter Island.
