The experience was super nice and accommodating, I enjoyed my stay here. I will say, the way the oven is placed near one of the faux drawers caused a bit of a hassle with opening which caused the knob to loosen from the drawer.

we had a very large group and it accommodated us well. There is a few minor things, but those have been discussed with the owner. We really enjoyed the proximity to downtown. The owner is very reaponsive and great to work with!!

Decent, but looked like it needed a deep clean. Linens were limited (bath towels/washcloths/hand towels/dish cloth/towel), but Host offered to provide more if needed. Because we were staying one night, we told them to not worry about it.

The house had a strong weed odor when you walked in the front door. I noticed another guest also experienced this as well. We had 8 in our group with 6 kids so explaining the smell wasn’t ideal. All of the towels were upstairs. The plates, bowls, and cups did not have enough for 8 guests. Then the master bedroom bathroom trash had no liner in it. The air conditioning never cooled the house down below 80 degrees. The positives were that it was close to downtown area. The house provided enough space for our large group. The house was clean and was nicely remodeled. It was a cool home and gave a real sense of Memphis being in a neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and beds were comfortable. Every room had a tv so we all got to enjoy relaxing with plenty of choices of things to watch. There is a huge tree by the driveway that was very cool with its massive size. We enjoyed Beale street which wasn’t too far. Bass pro shop and southern bbq which were all close to the Vrbo. The host sent other ideas too of places to explore. For the price and location, it was a good place to stay! We were there for one night so it was a quick trip!

I would not recommend anyone stay here. We arrived at the house and it smelt like weed, not in a very good neighborhood, and was not clean. The host was quickly to reply until we ask for a refund and we did not hear back from him. I contacted VRBO and they tried to contact him but he would not answer the phone. They told me they could not refund our money but did give us back half of the rental. They said if we contacted VRBO the day we told the owner we were not staying there and wanted a refund because of the smell. They would have found us another location. The owner told us he was going to contact VRBO but never did. We trusted that the owner would call and talk with VRBO so we didn’t call them. I gave him a week before I called VRBO. I highly recommend not using this location!

Nicely renovated, but there were many flaws upon arrival to the home. None of the tv remotes worked nor had batteries, host wasn’t helpful and when he was notified about said remote we met with him to receive what we thought was the missing remote but when handed to us he said the remote “might work” which we found HIGHLY unprofessional. We then checked on all the rooms to find out, not only do none of remotes work, but most of the light switches either did not or were difficult to turn on. We had a mostly quiet stay, but with all the obstacles we had to go through I would not recommend this property.

I’m glad you found the home nicely renovated, but I sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered upon arrival. The situation with the TV remotes and light switches is not the standard we aim to provide, and I understand how frustrating that must have been—especially at check-in. Regarding the remote, I did personally meet with you and provided the replacement remote that was requested at that time. I regret that it did not meet expectations, and I understand how that may have come across. Since your stay, we’ve taken steps to ensure all remotes are fully functional, properly paired, and stocked with fresh batteries prior to each guest’s arrival. We are also addressing the light switch concerns to ensure everything is clearly labeled and easy to operate moving forward. We strive to be responsive and helpful to all of our guests, so I’m sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect that. Your feedback has been taken seriously, and improvements have already been implemented to prevent this from happening again. Thank you again for your stay, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

The host was very communicative, and the house is in a good, central location. However, numerous things needed repair (towel bars pulling out of the wall, large damaged areas on walls, couldn’t use the tv in the living room because remote was not paired and couldn’t be); wasn’t as clean as it could be; poorly stocked (only two plates and two glasses for four people, no hand towels, no trash cans upstairs). Certainly not a bad place but for the money should have been better.
