I reached out to Jennifer to let her know the previous guest had informed me the Micro was kaput. I replaced it with another microwave from a rental I own, not knowing it wasn’t working either! The next day I installed a new, higher wattage microwave. Not sure if this is why the 3 star rating since nothing was mentioned to me.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament on the AF Academy and the cabin was perfect. You can not beat the views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in town again.

It worked out well for me. Hiccups that occurred were minor. It was a nice place to walk in the evenings. Much better for me than a hotel. I would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute little cabin! The space was cozy and clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. A TV in the main room to be able to hang out with who you are staying with over a cup of coffee would have been nice sine it was snowing and we couldn't sit outside. The water also had a very odd smell to it, making it hard to drink or even take a shower in it due to the smell. Careful in the main room bed as if you roll over to far there is not much support and you will fall off the bed as I did both nights. Just a few things otherwise not bad.

This cabin is in a very good location. However, it is accessible only from unpaved roads. The rooms are also small with no place for suitcases or other necessary items. The closet had no hanging rod and air conditioning is one small window unit in the living area. What caused us to leave without staying the night was that the water smelled of sulfur. Needless to say we were disappointed and will look carefully into the descriptions and reviews before booking any future VRBO.

I’m not sure how expectations were set since the pictures & description of this 399 sq ft Tiny Cabin are current & accurate. The road is 1/4 mile of hard packed 25 mph gravel road with another 100 yds of crushed asphalt. The roads are well kept as you would expect in a neighborhood with higher end homes. A King bed doesn’t leave a lot of extra room which is shown in the pictures. The anode was recently replaced in the water heater which was the cause of the sulfer smell. After the replacement the line was not bled sufficiently. Had the guest communicated the issue all that needed to be done was let the hot water run for 20 minutes. The guest never communicated anything even when I sent extra instructions & a warm welcome. Had there been communication other than “the cabin doesn’t meet our expectations & the water smells. We’re getting a hotel room”, the issues could have easily been remedied. All other reviews have been 4/5 stars.

I grew up on a small Indiana town on Main Street. During my career I was fortunate to travel through most of the US. However, personally, I always preferred staying at Air BnB’s. I retired from the pharmaceutical industry in ‘21 & now attend to a couple of properties & do some consulting. I am a father of 5 & grandfather of 9 soon to be 10. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, concerts, sports & riding my Harley Davidson. Most of all, I enjoy my kids & grandkids!

Why they chose this property

I love my neighborhood because it’s close & convenient to CS & Denver yet outside the city. The acreage gives me a feeling of being in the country with the option of being in town close by.

What makes this property unique

You won’t find an experience like my Cozy Cabin any closer or any more affordable. It really meets my guests where they are; unique, comfortable & convenient.
