We called service a couple of times and Mike came quickly. Always nice and helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for three nights over the Birkie weekend during COVID. Everything was fresh and clean (as usual). This place is tops for our yearly stay up in the Northwoods! The ONLY small reservation is that I would advise bringing a couple of gallons of water for drinking (not food prep or washing). The water has a bit too much sulfur taste. This is a very minor caveat, however.

Grand Pines Cabin #3

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great, view was great. This cabin can be a bit noisy on the weekends due to music from restaurant. It is also connected to another cabin like a twin home. Cabin was clean except for ceiling fans coated in dust which had been there for some time and bathroom fan same thing and items were left from previous renters by beds like an apple, some wrappers and some cream. So not sure how much cleaning is going on in between. Overall though it was a good vacation and the views were unbelievable.

Fall week at Grand Pines

Fishing was also good as we caught quite a few fish on Round Lake and a Musky on another.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying in cabin 3 (or as well like to call it, our home away from home) and we loved every minute of it! Gorgeous lake-front view, comfortable outdoor space, and the cabin comes stocked with just about everything you will need. We loved spending our days on the pontoon, swimming in Edgewater bay, and our evenings outside grilling or cozying up around the firepit. As always Friday Night Fish Fry at Props Landing did not disappoint! We very much look forward to our trip next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit to Grand Pines and our first stay on Big Round. While the pictures of the exterior are phenomenal, they do not come close to how truly breathtaking this lake front view is. The cabin was very clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfy and everything needed for your stay (linens, towels, kitchen utensils, etc) is provided. We packed lunch and a cooler and spent our days exploring Big Round - Edge Water Bay was our favorite swimming spot. We took advantage of the grill provided for our dinners and enjoyed the fish-fry at Prop's Landing next door on Friday night which was so delicious. This is a side x side cabin and right next to the restaurant, so there is a little less privacy than some of the other homes on the lake, but we didn't mind. As always the resort staff was wonderful to work with, the reservation process was super easy, and all our questions were answered before we arrived as well as during our stay. We are looking forward to vacationing at Grand Pines again next year.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was clean and had a pleasant and comfortable lay-out. The view of the snow-covered frozen Round Lake was gorgeous. Only recommendation would be to have a snow shovel by the door. The crew was good at removal, but we were often up before they showed up and a tool for simple clean-up would have been nice. There were ice dams on the roof over the bedrooms that leaked a bit into those rooms. Best to take care of those. These are very minor details for those staying here, however.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was cozy and welcoming. There were four of us so each had their own room with one on the sofa sleeper. However, the sofa sleeper was broken. The linens that came with the sofa sleeper didn't include a blanket (we were there on a chilly weekend in October). Other than was a WONDERFUL place to stay! We would come back in a heartbeat.
